    Re: Zanussi ZDT41 dishwasher

Ok been back to the machine, cannot possibly remove it! It seems as though the kitchen was built around it …and the water connection is behind a plasterboard wall, running all the way back to the tap!!

Anyway by removing the plinth I was able to access the lower part of the machine and remove the front inspection panel, which also allows the plastic base to drop down enough for a peek inside..

I can’t see any leaks, but more importantly can’t even see a float switch, and as the 3 beeps mentioned in initial post point to the float switch..it’s a bit of a headscratcher at present..

    Anyone have any ideas…

Think currys are flogging these things..it’s an inline metal piece that fits between the inlet hose and inlet valve..supposed to have a magnet inside that attracts “something “!

    Re: WT540 bearings collapsed

It sounds as though the spider (the part that is attached to the drum itself and which the shaft protrudes from and goes in to the bearings ). Has broken away from the drum on more Attachment
    Point

I would not continue to use this machine
As during a spin cycle the drum
Could well break away from the spider and do considerable damage ….

Unplug and remove this machine ASAP!

Re: Hoover acm 15 washing machine spin problem

At the back of the motor is a tacho coil..easily identified by two leads coming from it… Take this off, underneath is a magnet..check this is not spinning freely on the shaft..if it is tighten it…

If this fails you need to test the tacho coil, see how u get on with magnet 1st

    Re: Hotpoint aquarius + (WMF760) – f11 fault

F11 does point to a problem with th pump, but it maybe worth checking the motor brushes..this may be the problem, especially if it only bappens on the start of the spin cycle..

    Re: Miele W828

Also if you disconnect the pressure hose from th board end, see how much water it takes in then..that will prove the switch either way..
