ParticipantRe: Kenwood D/W kdw12st3a odd fault
Could be the seals in the arms, or insufficient flow from the wash pump,
And have been to a few with hairline cracks in the spray armsMartin

ParticipantRe: Drum Shaft Kit (Hotpoint VTD00)
Did one of these a few days ago, I’m amazed that the new rear drum shaft never breaks with the amount of pressure needed to get the belt on!
Well worth checking the 4 plastic bearing pads.. As these are prone to coming loose, I usually just fit a complete maintenance kit… Rear bearing, shaft, pads, and felts..Martin

ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8132 not draining
Only things. Can think of, are loose connections to the pump..or maybe the pump is failing to operate correctly as it gets warmer!
Having not worked on this particular model, I’ll leave it open to others to help you

ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8132 not draining
That should read..
Does the drain pump operate first at the start of a cycle (as it should) then it should take fresh water in for a the wash cycle…
Or is it that the pump Just won’t pump out at the end of the cycle?Muv
ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8132 not draining
When you say it fills, at the start of a wash… Does it first drain all the remaining water out.
As the drain pump should be operating. Does it then takes water in for the wash?Muv

What the hell is that! Lol. I think the next step is designer jackets for them!!
Sounds like a business idea to me, if it’s good enough for a pet, it’s good enough for your beloved washing machine

ParticipantRe: hpt fdw60 boiling water
On the slimline version of this (the sdw60) it’s located near the tab dispenser on the inner door.. So it should be the same place on its big brother..

ParticipantRe: Bendix 7147
Why? Because a mate of mine has a mini museum of old washing machines and this is yet another one he is after for his collection… There are some unusual collectors out there lol
Thanks anyway

Power off while you look for the cause!

ParticipantRe: Dishwasher
Sounds like you have a leak in to the base of the machine, which has activated the anti flood switch..so basically the pump runs constantly to pump water away…
Switch off water supply.. Let machine then pump out all remaining water, wait till pump switches off, then it’s towels down while you look underneath machine for cause of the leak
