ParticipantNo love for this one!?
The module is almost £190.00.
Considering biting the bullet and referring to SlopPoint.

ParticipantIf you’re in doubt, try removing the reed connector and see if the fault sequence changes.
The most common issue i have with these is low wash pressure fault – which the machine presumes to be a ‘water inlet’ fault. Either jammed or blocked wash motor impeller (debris gets in between the wash motor impeller fins. Or, faulty heat pressure switch.
The heat pressure switch is used to determine that there is water in the machine before it allows the element to be powered on, as a safety thing. So, it can fill correctly and still state an inlet fault.

ParticipantRevisted today and diagnostics showed E66 – Heater relay.
Turns out the element is a dead short and down to Earth – weird thing is, i tested the element on my first visit.
Disconnecting the element and commencing a program locked the door – thanks.
Thanks for the help again.

ParticipantThank you Dave.
Much appreciated

ParticipantAh, thanks Dave – missed that, somehow! And, it explains why I shorted one once.

ParticipantNo debris in circulation pump impeller (I’ve had them blocked with plastic wrappers cause F78).
No signs of damage or leak on heater pressure switch.
However, the baskets are starting to corroded and break up, I’m presuming bits of the basket metal are in the system and jamming the circulation pump.
Can’t confirm though, as I’ve never seen the machine fault. It only ever happens after I leave!
Or, heat pressure switch on its way out. Hard to replace it though without being certain.
Grrr.

ParticipantThanks Dave.
Makes sense as if heating pressure switch doesn’t clock, machine presumes no water inlet fault.
Now here to take another look.

ParticipantCustomer now says they have F78 error.
September 23, 2025 at 3:54 pm in reply to: Bosch TD | WTWH7660GB/07 | Water leak from Front RHS #493783neon_3SP_glow
ParticipantRight! I got this one home this afternoon to investigate.
It’s a self clean machine. The way it does this self clean is to dump the water held in the water tank (via a flap and solenoid) onto the front of the condensing unit. This is designed to disturb and remove any fluff/lint accumulating on the condenser grill.
Part number 00657920 is responsible for diverting water to the water tank ready for a self clean, if the customer has the machine set up to drain the water out of the machine into a down pipe etc. It needs to reroute the water to the tank to be able to self clean.
The machine was showing Care in the led display.
This message will initiate relative to time when a manual care maintenance program is needed.
As far as I can tell, the leak has been caused by fluff and lint against the seals in the front LHS window which allows access to the condensing grill.
I’ve cleaned up all the seals/windows, ran a cp1 maintenance cycle and she’s a s good as new!
Bravo!

ParticipantThanks for the replies.
This is pretty much what I have been doing. If its duel fuel and i need to replace the fan element, all good.
Everything else I bin it off.
A tad quiet this week, hence wanting to earn on it!!

Participant* water leak is LHS not RHS!!
September 22, 2025 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Bush gas cooker | AG56SW | Short from Live-Earth on plug #493767neon_3SP_glow
ParticipantI’ve referred it to a gas safe engineer, thanks.
September 22, 2025 at 1:22 pm in reply to: Bush gas cooker | AG56SW | Short from Live-Earth on plug #493766neon_3SP_glow
ParticipantIt was definitely a stand alone gas cooker with a 3amp plug. Single oven with grill, narrow/slimline unit. Said Argos somewhere on it.
Regarding Gas Safe registered – Are we not allowed to work on electrical issues on gas appliances? Are you stating that we are not allowed to remove the gas inlet pipe?
Thanks for the swift reply.
August 28, 2025 at 6:49 pm in reply to: LG | Washer Dryer | FWV796WTS | Int wont power on & LED Screen goes blank during prog #493568neon_3SP_glow
ParticipantDoesn’t look like the parts are easily available. Connect D and the LG links only show a handful of parts 🙁
neon_3SP_glow
ParticipantIt’s a vented one with just the minutes selected timer.
Do you have any voltage being sent to the element circuits?
This should be about the easiest machine to fault find on.
