I don’t see it as picking holes in dasa but more 0800/jtm saying things that they are not. I think it’s only correct to point that out to said association. As i would do if people where saying they where affiliated to the wta but were not. Seems sense to me.

    Re: 0800 Repair

Are there any 0800 people who can clear it up? All they have to do is quote the number on there membership certificate. (i will ask our local 0800 dude too and see if he knows if he is or not) But why do they become members of dasa as per contract? Surely the requirement is/should be that they join A N association be it dasa or WTA. Both are credible and seems unfair if it’s a captive audience for one.

If i start an 0800 franchise can i be a WTA member instead please 😆 but then i’d be a member twice so can my 0800 be an asscoiate membership? 8)

    Hi

I don’t have a manual but it is a w/pool type and is prob. just the defrost heater that has failed.

Let the WTA know the response from kitchen aid though they will be glad of it.

Yeah looks that way. Expensive! Cust could probably buy a new house with a dishwasher in it for the price of a board!

    Hi Jim

Sounds like a faulty board. The pump running for a minute and then stopping is the d/w resetting. Will it start a test program? (keep finger on start button while you power up until the light starts to flash then press once and close th e door). Had a few like this where it realy wont select a prog but will just do test cycle. It’s like the board locks out for some reason. If your lucky it will do the test cycle and be fine but more often you have to change the pcb.

    Hi Chris

They are great to work on. Look a bit scary but once your in you’ll see pretty straight forward.

Take out lower drawer (Like a kitchen drawer, two lugs at bottom near the front and lift off) and look at the plastic link which supports the harness and fill/drain tubes. It’s most likely to be broken and stopping the lid from closing proberly on wash. Replacement is metal and much better pt. no. 528437 if you need it.

Re: ISE 10 auto door release

It’s under the child safty bit in the destruction book.

    1. Turn off the machine using the main power
    switch.
    2. Press the Door Open button while simultaneously
    pressing the main power switch.
    Release the buttons.
    3. Press the Key button and the red field goes
out. Automatic door opening is now deactivated.
    4. Press the Start/Stop button to store the
    setting.
If you want to reactivate the function, follow
the instructions above. When you press the
button with the key symbol (point 3), the red
fields light up. Store the setting by pressing
    the Start/stop button.

Re: Baumatic fridge freezer BTC220SL FF

The ice build up will be on/under the evaporator there will be ice there you just cant see it. If you remove the rear cover inside the freezer you’ll se what i mean. Be careful if you use haet to defrost as the plastic can distort in no time. Best just to switch off. 😉

Re: Baumatic fridge freezer BTC220SL FF

Sounds like the drain hole/channel for the melt water is blocked/frozen up. So when the appliance goes through a defrost cycle the water goes into the bottom of the freezer. First thing to do is defrost the freezer (turn off at supply and leave door open for at least 24hrs) then turn back on. If problem comes back within a week or so then you may have a fault and need an engineer.

    Re: Beko DV555 Double oven

There is a small safty cut out in the back of the oven on the live feed from the terminal block which has probably failed causing this problem. Quite common. Easy enough fix, just test cut out for continuity and replace if O/C. Remember to disconnect mains of course . Cheap enough fix if you get someone in though.

Re: Remove the pulley of my Hotpoint washing machine 9525

The pulley is threaded so anti clockwise to remove and clockwise refit. Wedge a hammer handle through the pulley into the moulding of the outer tub and turn the drum against it gives you a bit more purchase to spin the pulley off.
