First thing to check is that the door is closing fully. Take note that the door lock on these models are just that , a lock. There is a magnet on the top lock on the machine and a sensor in the top of the door itself. Make sure nothing is stopping the door from closing fully AND squarely .

Try and switch it on and off. ….but with the door open ! Sometimes the locking bar for the door – top right if I remember – gets caught on the wrong side of it’s locking plate situated on the top edge of the door.

I have a feeling F:31 is a Heater NTC fault .

ParticipantRe: Bosch Logixx WAS28466GB/05
Not had worn brushes cause that fault. check the analogue pressure sensor. Had one the other day where the appliance thought it was at its overfill level so just continually pumped out . Disconnected the hose to the switch , still pumped – disconnected the switch electrically , stopped pumping. New switch cured the problem.

Is the impellor jug fitted in the correct orientation ? They should only be fitted with the water flowing in the direction of the arrow .

Check that the icemaker is actually evicting the ice cubes. If the tray isn’t getting rid of the ice cubes , the new burst of water trying to fill the tray will ‘overflow’ into the ice cube container and possibly out of the dispenser.

I’d say 3 possible causes.
Slow drain , failing brushes or possibly just an unbalanced load –
one large item or not a big enough variety of items in load.nomadPaul
ParticipantRe: Bosch. Is this a fault code ?
Set selector switch to the 6 o’clock position , hold the spin speed button , turn selector switch one click clockwise then release spin speed button. This puts you into test. If after returning the switch to off , the fault condition returns when switched back on then it points towards the board.

ParticipantRe: Bosch. Is this a fault code ?
Normally its a board failure. Does it disappear if you do a reset by selecting the test programme ?

ParticipantRe: Bosch KGU30604GB/02 Error Codes
The lights flashing are probably just the temp leds flashing because the appliance isn’t reaching the right temperature.
Its a single compressor with diverter valve.
I’d first be looking to see if both fridge and freezer compartments are suffering from not cooling enough. If it’s just the freezer suffering , check for a frozen over evaporator first.nomadPaul
ParticipantRe: bosch WTE84107GB/02 dryer
Unlikely to be that board. That’s a starting relay. If the socket is all ok , the more likely culprit is the control module – 499428 – and it’s not cheap !

F:11 fault – normally means pcb is goosed. A test programme reset sometimes gets it going again.
Selector switch to 6 o’clock . Hold low heat button and turn selector switch one click clockwise . This will enter test programme. Now switch off .
See if this clears it.nomadPaul
ParticipantRe: Bosch WVT1260
It should be :-
Programme selector to off
Press start button for at least 3 secs and turn selector switch to easy care 40*c . This will put you in to the single component test programme.nomadPaul

Could it depend on the cutters used ?Most likely Paul, I bought mine back in 1973 just after I started out on my own having left BDA Hotpoint. They are getting a bit worse for wear now I must confess…… :clown:

Can I ask why Martin ? It’s the BSH standard method . Could it depend on the cutters used ?
