518004300 is gen – It appears to be the standard straight through Merloni pump, so plenty of pattern ones to choose from. Masterpart SV5102 is particularly inexpensive 😀 .

    Re: margherita 2000 troubleshooting

The fact that it is draining some water out proves that the pump is working. However, it should drain the drum completely within 30-40 seconds. It implies that there is still some sort of blockage somewhere.

Possibilities are choked coupling at sink (if that’s where the drain hose is connected to), crushed or kinked drain hose, sock or similar in tub to pump hose or a very tired drain pump just not spinning fast enough. The last may be identified if the pump makes a “drilling” or “burring” kind of noise.

Power of please if you finish up going underneath it.

Other possibilities are earth leakage through the motor or blown electronics. Both can give your machines symptons.

Had a couple of these with dodgy relays on powerboard, also fan motor not always cutting in (fluff, bearings or capacitor).

    Fiona-Anne,
The rods terminate in springs down at the tank bottom. At the top, they should be hooked into a kind of plastic corner piece. There are circular recesses around the tank base which the rods should slot into.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Prewash blinks to indicate fault status Mike. If all components meter out, it has to be the power board itself. All the ones I’ve been to with this have turned out to be the PCB. P/no is 2810040110.

    Cheers,
    Chris.
