    Re: Hotpoint RLAV21 not cooling

Putting ‘beko AND fridge’ into the Search facility for this forum suggests an awful lot of system problems at an early age. You will get what you are prepared to pay for these days, I’m afraid.

    Hi BigLeroy,

Sorry, can’t help you specifically as I’m not a fridge man. Basic knowledge suggests that constant running and no cooling is a system problem – either a blockage or lack of coolant gas – either way there’s no simple (or cheap!) fix.

From the front of the door, or down the side into the base? If the former it’s possibly the door seals or a split bottom rotor. If the latter, check the seal on the vent from the fill matrix into the cavity.

It sounds like a logic error, therefore pcb. Not too expensive, but there are two – serial number need to identify.

Re: Electrolux ESL624 stuck on cycle

Electro-mechanical timer controlled machine. There is a 60c normally open thermostat to be checked for cycling – it should complete a circuit to the timer when it closes, allowing it to run on. Possible that the timer heater contacts have welded closed. Also check for broken wiring at the pivot point in the door – door outer off to check.

Stay safe, power off if working on the machine.

Piccies of what’s involved in THIS THREAD.

If you really want to demolish it, you take the cavity off the base unit. Don’t……

HP42108 from Masterpart – £46 the lot. Cap start rather than relay, so you need to decide which terminal is live and which is neutral. A bit of a bargain.

Sorry, yup (exclude the lid!). You may just hit lucky with the ribbed hose only – you can get that through the front with the decor panel out of the way.

Power off, lid, door outer, lower cover plate and l/h side off.

    Clean this hose thoroughly:

    Then the water level control:

Underfilling will cause erratic operation of the diaphragm switch on the heater unit and extend wash times accordingly.

Re: Bosch SGS43T02GB/06 will not drain

You’re turning the wash pump, not the drain pump. Bail out the water, pull the plug, remove tin undertray. Pump is a twist and pull fit from underneath.

    Re: F&P MW511 wont spin

Repeat post due to server crash.

Fault 1 is the display board failure. However, as with any F+P no spin problem, it’s always worth checking the lid and OOB switches for function, corrosion and general sogginess before lashing out for a board.

Test meter – circuit across the armature should read 5/6 ohms.

    Re: Powerpoint IDW8 – Error code E4

I take it that you’re posting from Ireland – Powerpoint appears to be an Irish brand. I’ll assume that it’s a Haier Chinese machine, due to the complete absence of any formal technical information, in which case E4 means that the tray under the machine is full of water and that the flood protection system is operating.

Drag it out, power off, tip it to one side to drain the underside. If it does it again, you’re playing “Hunt the leak”.

Grill element – 379202 – Gorenje. No doubt Masterpart or AW will be able to supply.

421308928321 – drain hose kit. Heaven only knows what that comprises of.
