Nine bolts to release pulley and cross-piece, then it’s “Big Hammer Time”. Easy one.
Suitable bearing kit will be found HERE.
Check for the full eNr code – there are early and late versions with different bearing sets fitted.
Power off, of course.

Model number is etched into the top edge of the inner door, next to the door latch. Typically will read ‘SGS—-GB/–‘. Enter that on http://www.bshappliancecare.com and you can call up the diagrams for your machine, or download user books.
You can access most Bosch drain pumps through a cover plate at the 9 o’clock position in the sump, under the filters. Bail out what you can first.

132 is a current trip code – excess current detected by the motor controller board. Prime suspect is the motor wiring – check wiring, RPS, star point for dampness, chaffing and water damage. Check also the motor controller has not got wet.

A flow meter is a device containing a water wheel with a magnet embedded in it running in the water flow, and a reed switch (usually on a small pcb) mounted on the outside. The magnet passing the reed switch opens and closes it, thus generating pulses, which the computer counts and determines the water level from. There is no “re-set” for such a device. Failure of the reed switch is quite common, although it is worth checking for continuity through the wiring to the main pcb.

No, we can’t. The info is copyright to F+P and they get a bit touchy if we start dishing it out.
Use the “Sticky” at the top of the forum to identify your problem, post the results and we should be able to help.

Just a point, Andy – the great majority of repairers don’t get down to board level repairs. If we identify a problem with the main pcb, we will replace, either with a new programmable board from The Indesit Company, or a reconditioned unit.
From a personal perspective, I’d check the row of light-duty triacs……..
Please post up your findings – we’ve had some interesting posts with regards to relays and burn-out resistors. It all adds to the knowledge pool.
Good luck,

If you are certain that the switch on the water level indicator is NO when the machine is empty, there is isn’t much else except the pcb which can be at fault. Might be an idea to follow the wiring back from the switch and check at the pcb end of the loom.

The regeneration unit is operated by a solenoid fitted down at the bottom of the left hand side of the fill/water level/resin chamber. It is possible that it has failed – a resistance check with a test meter will tell you. P/no 166875 if you don’t get a circuit through it.
Power off if you’re going in……

ParticipantRe: Advice wanted on Teka DW6 59 Problem
Interesting question. Most recent SMEG built machines have a tube type heater under the tub, therefore, there is nothing in the tub itself to spark off. Yours (of course) may have a heater in the tub – tech info on these is just non-existant. If it does, check for cracks, blow holes or “fizzing”. Otherwise, I’d start by removing the outer door and checking the wiring loom at the hinge area for breaks. Failing that, you need to get to the base tray underneath and check for evidence of water leakage.
Can’t tell you much more based on your post.
Stay safe, power off first.
