Detergent is cleared by the hot water valve feeding through that compartment. Lack of pressure will leave residue. You say that you have had plumbing work performed recently, I would investigate that further.

Flood protection activated. Common leak is outlet hose from circulation pump.

Re: Kuppersbusch IGV 456.1 Slimline Int Dishwasher – Any goo

Looks like some kind of Fagor-Brandt badge job as far as I can tell. Perfectly adequate – if it ever goes wrong, don’t try and get a spare part from them…… Support through the badge not good.

Start with the water indicator in the sump (sludge/microswitch failure). If that doesn’t do it, check out the flow meter in the fill matrix.

Nope, not true. Various manufacturers – SMEG, Brandt and Whirlpool mostly, then the unfortunate Haier episode. All have their little quirks, all well documented on here, all highly repairable. By and large built-in, so added value to the customer and a higher chance of a repair charge being accepted.

You can get them through UKW by mailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the part numbers, for a similar price.

We need the money to keep the site afloat, after all. 😀

Side panels don’t come off. Front panel opens like a cupboard door. Then you can remove and clean the water level pressure system collecting bell on the front of the tub and it will probably work again.

    Power off, first.

Don’t take this the wrong way, please. If you couldn’t deal with the bearings on a Hotpoint, you have no chance with an LG.

If you like the machine and want to keep it, get help.

Use a meter. Follow the tracks back to the edge connector. Wherever that goes, there’s your problem.

I think we told everyone to refine the search to reduce the returns.

    ‘AND’ is a wonderful thing.

    Re: Miele missing spin cycle

Out of balance, probably. Variation in motor speed during the distribute phase can cause the spin to abort. This can be exacerbated by large single items, which are inclined to roll into a ball rather than spread out evenly around the drum.

Re: Belling door keeps popping open

Check also that the door opens to 90 degrees and no more. If the door has go “over square” and droops towards the floor, the hinges are bent. Not a job that you (or I!) would enjoy.

Check motor – odd things happen if out of circuit.
