It’s worth pointing out some models will time out on the spin if there’s no load in the drum 😉

Doubt its the dispenser. What is the resistance reading of the actuator? They go low in resistance when the play up and the actuator can look distorted.

Sounds like the heater to me or as Gegsy said the ‘o’ rings. Your stabbing in the dark without a megger

Its common for the bearing seal to leak and water to leak onto the motor giving you some strange faults

What were the earth leakage reading like? Sounds like an earth leakage of sorts or a mouse that’s p1ssed on the board is common if in an out house?

Replace the fuse, if it blows when you shut the door its the door switch. If it blows once the m/w has started its probably the capacitor and the zener diode which bridges the two terminals. could be the diode that goes from the cap down to earth. Easy enough to check

This model was fairly good so smart money on the cap and diodes..

E14? sounds like a smeg in a dress type fault. Good luck with that!
😉 You might be lucky with a load of £1 coins in the sump/filter. The dryer nct was certainly a problem on those

Got to be an older m/c if just flashing three times. No idea without a enr no’s but usually blocked pump, pressure chamber, element o/c or inlet valve o/c

    Re: Siemens sn24315gb/20

This appliance needs good water pressure and flow rate to work correctly so what your saying doesn’t make sense? The metering tank has an air gap the water has to jump, if the pressure/ flow rate and to low it fills via the breather and causes it to overfill and lock out the float switch or pressure switch on the valve.
Got to be poor supply or blocked salt pot?

Did you open up the pcb? U’ll probably find a triac with a big hole in it. Also check the edge connectors onto the pcb and dispenser actuator aswell as the normal things.
    Money on the board though!

Test program will not operate dispenser but opens nearly straight away on quick wash. They have a nasty habit of blowing the main pcb when the acuator fails. 👿
