ParticipantRe: Candy W/dryer part.
Trying to trace part for this model. Behind selector knob there’s a thin orange splined spindle which locates into the cam disc which has broken. Not shown on exploded view. Is it part of the knob?
Thanks RickRickT
ParticipantRe: Yet another gripe at connect.
I put a payment through last week no problem at all. The site has been slow this week though. Just put in pne request in, spent ages trying make myself as clear as possible describing the part, clicked submit. It then gave me a possible match, clicked on it to magnify pic. Wrong part, clicked back and no page found lost all the info I’d typed in

ParticipantRe: New van.
Thanks Steve. I viewed one of the citroens and thought it was identicle to the peugeot so I might well go for one of those. If I was to buy, it would be a used one but I will investigate leasing. Thanks again for the useful links.

ParticipantRe: New van.
I’ve been scouting around for a replacement for my rusting Ford courier. Have narrowed it down to a Ford connect, Peugeot expert or partner, all around 04/05. Has anyone any idea of reliability, mpg and insurance groups on these. Also what percentage can I claim back on my expenses being self employed and only using the van for business only.

ParticipantRe: Creda 48301 timer board
Thanks Steve . I’m hoping to repair the board as a no charge job as the customer has recently had the cooling motor and oven fan motor replaced.

ParticipantRe: Tecnik / Neff SE6TIE2GB/42
Thanks Chris. However straight after this post I checked on machine’s progress and is now working fine (filling up to base of salt cap). I’ve stripped the guts out of this one and totally cleaned every orifice and hose in there. I shall keep a check on this and report back if any probs.

ParticipantRe: hotpoint few 12p washing m/c
Had trouble getting the correct drum supports for these 30mm bearings. Last time I ordered one I got a 30mm shaft with a brass collar fitted that didn’t fit the oil seal. Now stuck with it. Easier to fit 35mm support with new back half tub.

ParticipantRe: Creda T512VW
I’ve found on this model this seal does fit, but has a tendency to pull off when
large amount are pulled out of the drum. I carefully apply some debor around the front panel lip then fit the seal. Haven’t had one fall of yet!!!RickT
ParticipantRe: Zanussi FLS1186W
I’ve had that few times over the years as well and did fit a new solenoid to rule it out. In this case though the actual power supply to the valve is failing.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi FLS1186W
Thanks for the help Martin .Have checked all mentioned and ok. Have checked EMW and they state filling problems with this module. Do you know if the 546 546 and 546 547 modules are interchangable as I have the latter in my old stock.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi FLS1186W
It did at the first attempt but then no joy.

ParticipantRe: rangemaster 110 – difficult to ignite
Just a shot in the dark here but could the gas jets near the electrode be blocked so it needs that air disturbance to blow the gas towards the spark!!
