Re: Servis UK (Antonio Merloni) Bust!?

Any info on Merloni. JTM have some parts seemingly sourced from Fabriano with very recent dates on the boxes. Are they just sending out stock I wonder or have they started producing parts again?

I would check the airflow and it is venting ok. Had this with vent hose either blocked with fluff or water or where the fresh air is sucked in could be blocked.

Yeaterday I went to a customer who has a son in computers and it turns out he used to work with my ex and he agreed to do one for free so it’s a lucky break.

    Ken,
Following on from Steve above is there any difference as I’m not vat registered? Have a possible tomorrow afternoon so will take a flyer and see how it goes.
No one has said whether they charge full rrp or not so any pointers would be welcome.

Thanks for all the input but having tried most of Monday to design a site have given up with a headache. Office live…3 hours and a nice design but microsoft wouldn’t let me do anything with it and then said I had no email inbox on Hotmail or Office live. wasted and lost it 😈
Several others tried and all got so far then lost my way. I have decided to get a proper one designed and go from there.
Thanks again but I won’t try again.
Ps. Seamy I really liked yours and slightly based mine on it before it went wrong.Hope you wouldn’t have minded 😳

    Hi Steve,
No, not VAT registered so will have a word, I’m interested in whether most sell at the recommended price or discount a little. I know the basic Amicas I have sold have been good and at a price of £270 retail are a bit of a bargain but in short supply right now and then they are lost to me for the 2 yr g’tee period.

    Ken,
thats’s why I haven’t got an ‘er indoors(thats my story and I’m sticking to it) and for the saving can keep one in the front room or on the van.

Jim, do you charge the RRP or a bit less because I think I would charge £371 and still make £60?

I was there for about 3 months early 1993 but then took a step up in the world (and moved to Afganistan. not true) and moved to Piddletrenthide opposite the Poachers. I love the Piddle Valley.
