    Re: Bosch WAS28460GB/08 FD9007

    Thanks for that nomadPaul.

I’ve tried resetting but it doesn’t work. The query is which board. The one at the front (opeating module) which is the buttoms and rotary control or the one directly behind it which is called the power board. Both look like they could be programmed and or have firmware. I just wanted to order the right one before I shoot off.

Someone must have repaired one of these?

Re: Miele KFN 8462SD Freezer drain hole blocked

Getting the ice out of the drain hole and pipe can be problematic. When you get rid of all the visible ice and you’re left with ice in the pipe, put some hot (not boiling) water on it then remove the water (syringe or turkey basters work well) Keep removing the water, adding hot water verbatim until it clears. No use just adding hot water as it won’t get passed the cold water on top of the ice without removing it first. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that. I tried to fit one from van stock but no joy. Lots of suppliers couldn’t help so I measured it up and after a lot of searching, I also came up with 12570030 which is spot on size and watts. I ordered a pattern ELE3955. Also 14-MN-04 Europarts/Maddocks another supplier. You post assures me I got it correct thanks. Anyone know who makes it out of interest?

    Thanks eastlmark,

There was a switch on the stat. Firstly I thought it might be for cold ambient temperature (similar to some Bosch). It looks like it’s in the off position. When I switch it exposes a red indicator. Instruction manual no where to be found. I’ll try and find one online.

    I suspect you’re correct. Thanks

You’re correct eastlmark. Plastic clippy things. Still a bit of a pain. Even with the side panel off there was limited access but got there in the end. Thanks.
