    Thanks Steve,

I looked there. They’re not the ones. Very similar but have a the ones I need have a little round but on the end where it pivots in the hood. I’ll upload a picture later when I’m near my PC.

    Re: Beko DSFN1532W

I knew from the start this was likely to a blockage. I just wasn’t looking forward to the removal. I bit the bullet, fought for ages and eventually got it out. Lots of huffing and puffing, cursing and swearing under my breath.

Pulled the wash motor out. The impeller looked ok but a bit strange. It turned out a piece of very thick heavy plastic has molded itself to the same shape as the impeller. Obviously aided by the heat. It took ages to prize it all off.

One happy customer, and well paid me.

Thanks stratfordgirl. I know it needs checking but it’s a nightmare to get out. Ordinarily, I’d of asked the customer to stump the cost of me checking. I’m just trying to avoid prying it out, twice. I’m more sure it’s the wash motor.

Re: Stailess Steel Paint for Plastic Oven Handles

Eventually found a not so reasonably priced alternative oven handle. Special order though.
LL: Why does it cost so much?
Me: Because the appliance is so old, and all parts less elements are obsolete. This is an alternative. It’s not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} but similar enough to use.
LL: No it can’t be, it’s only 5 maybe 8 years old.
Me: No, more like 15 years according to the date code.

My how time flies in the world of appliances. Thanks to all for their contribution but I’m not going down the route of painting. I thought it might be an option. 🙂

Re: Cooker Hood ducting hose for gas hob

Thanks R600a, Much appreciated. To be honest, there’s only less than 1m of ducting but it’s too small. I didn’t quote for the ducting when I priced the job. I’ve left it with the landlord the decide if he wants new ducting. I think he should but that’s up to him. I just wondered if there was any regs anywhere.

    Thanks

    What’s the FD number?

Normally 4 figures then another group of figures after it.

It should be in the same place you found the E-Nr (model) details.

A known problem with this seal. I’ve only successfully fitted 1 out of three 🙁

00651956. Sounds like the heat pump but lots of info on here. Search heatpump of E09. It’s all there.

Just to update this job incase anyone needs it for a search later.

After lots of support from BSH tech.
    F67 error
Check the machine thoroughly for any earth leakage including smaller items like the pump etc. Try a re-set of the pcb. Also check and make sure the 3D sensor is ok. Try unplugging the 3D sensor and plugging back in. Obviously checking all connections and all wiring.
If this does not help then it’s likely to be the power module 00701834.

(I had a sneaky feeling it was the power module as it was called a version 4 module-possibly previous known problems hence the version 4)Masterpart sell the module for £69.97+Vat and it was a quick delivery for special order part and a good price.

Prgramming from the German to English tranlated instructions took some time but like anything you’ve not done before, it’s just a matter of sticking with it.

Re: Embraco Compressor TSD Starter – on a Miele Fridge

Just for future reference/in case of future searches.

I fitted a BSH starter 00420461. The appliance has worked fine since. I only replaced the EPTC starter, I didn’t replace the capacitor which I understand is the advice.

Also, for reference, there is a Danfoss Eptc starter, 103N0050. I’m not sure if it would have fitted. Hopefully this thread will be of use to someone in the future.
