    Re: ESL6115

How ironic, I was sat next to the tenants at a school meeting today. Interesting talk afterwards.

Aparently, the Landlord definately has “gone to ground” Tenants have also been trying to get him to make a decision on this DW. No replies to calls or letters. Tenants have had enough and had it removed this morning and had their own stand along put in instead. They’ve written to the LL telling him they are going to deduct £5.00 pcm from their next rent they pay!!

What a nkob! Stick yer head in the ground and the problems will go away- sounds like a certain former PM we know.

I will bill for initial call labour and parts supplied, and wait until the next rent is due.

The look on her face must have been priceless, where’s the picture??

Had similar about 5 years back. Blocked DW pump, a week later customer goes on holiday, comes back books a call for 10 days later. All in the middle of the summer. When I got there I refused to do but my boss threatened to sack me. Had to got back later in the day – took my time though, left the door open and went to the car, mdade a few calls, did a bit of paper work, picked some bits up then went back in. Sorted it but the house stunk but so did I. It was like a think green vomit soup. Childish I know but there was no need for it. They could have emptied the dirty water out before they went on holiday. Sheer and uttle laziness.

oh yes, including the parts delivered for the cooker (shelf and grill pan handle), how long it will take me to get it I don’t know.

They are good payers, I’ve done quite a few jobs for them since this one started and I’ve been paid so I have no doubt about what they’ve said.

The agency lady said yesterday, “no need to write to the LL, apart from not replying we tasked you with the work so”. 😀

Almost accepting responsibility in my books. I will keep it polite but firm. I don’t want to ruin what has been to now a good working relationship. But I won’t let it go, too stubborn and too tight according to my family, can’t see it myslef 😉

    Re: ESL6115

just to close this thread. Been trying for ages to get the go ahead to get the part from letting agents. Toay, I had to go and collect keys and pushed for an update.

Errrr (oh here we go…..) (little did they know I had overheard a conversation when I was supposed to be on hold to them but the line was open) .

Errmm, Well the tenants paid 6 months rent upfront and our account department neglected to take 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} maintenance holding fee and our fees before sending him the rent and we’ve got no money.

She then went on to say the landland hasn’t ansered any calls or e-mails for 10 days.

Also tenants have removed the DW and put their own one in.

So to end a long story, never did get to try the pcb.

Shame really because they are normally meticulously good timely payers.

Re: is my hotpoint wmt03 in warranty ?

You might get an local independant enginner to do it for around that price, or for not much more (£130.00 ish). You’ll get a better guarantee period and guy won’t try and sell you extended warranty insurance as the Hotpoint call Centre will.

Try repairs@ from menu on the left to find a local engineer…

    Worth a try

had one today. Multi-function oven. Fault oven trips CU. Customer only ever used combined upper/lower element function. Fault diagnosed to base element at fault. Customer, I need an oven what am I going to do for till you get the part?? er..use the fan element. What’s that? Explain, quick demo of funtions, defrost/upper ele/lower etc etc. So is it any good this this fan oven function???

Arghhh, why did you spend so much money on multi-function oven??

Was funny watching their faces and that of the neighbours as I burnt off 5 years of grease off the fan element………. are you sure it’s not on fire??? no it’ll be fine love, just don’t let anyone call the fire brigade, even the dog eventually ran out of the house…

Heats but fails to complete the programme and indicates heating fault. Checked thermister, it wasn’t fully home in it’s slot. Re-fitted it. Tested and still the same.

Srl 70725 4410 so presume C00143209 is the pcb for this ??

    Anyone??
