ParticipantRe: Quality Tamperproof Torx/Security Torx bit sets
Going for individual Wera bits – couldn’t find a set that suited my needs without buying lots of bits I have never used before and not likely to use and already have lots of.
Just got a bit stuck today. was trying to undo bottom plate on a CDA dw. 3 weeks it had been flooded and as I managed to tilt it and get some of the rancid water (thick soup like) out, I found out why it was so rancid. A mouse had died and was stuck to the base and has started to decay in the water, when I exposed it to the air it was putryfying…….
So there I am struggling to undo the screw that didn’t want to move, the bit broke and the lady of the house raising her voice more by the minute…
eventually used an allen key, hubby took the base plate outside and got rid of the mouse….Absolutely loads of droppings coupled with the stagnant water was not too pretty… I hate those big Askoll pumps…. never mind, it’ll be fixed shortly. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to stand at the door of our house and strip to my undies and straight in the shower

ParticipantRe: REDUNDANCIES AT COMET
Another 40 jobs at HQ in Hull announced on the local news earlier today.
I don’t know how many they have at Hull HQ so I don’t know what sort of percentage of staff this equates to.

ParticipantRe: New satnav – which one???
Sorted, TT 530 it is – Obviously TTs very popular and willing to give it a go. The Garman was a hand me down from the boss anyway and she bought it on a whim and did not research before hand.
but got for Β£20.00 less because I used a voucher from here
http://www.myvouchercodes.co.uk/code-st … h/halfords Pretty useful site – used it quite a bit in the last couple of months and it’s saved me over Β£100.00 todate. πSo I got it with 2 years free map updates, Β£20.00 off – not too bad. I know Halfords are not the cheapest but with the discount code it made it more bearable. All in all Β£199.99
I just know that it end up in the bosses car when she gets out of the house before me one morning π‘ π‘
I’ll let you know how I got on in a while…………….
Thanks to all for the pointers and debate, it’s been very useful.

Can you get the double valve seperately without having to purchase the dispenser as well??I wonder if a C00110333 double valve would fit though?:hmm:
You could waste a lot of time and money finding out mind you. π
Hi Martin,
Since posting I’ve found an old C00110333 in my odds and sods box. Same valve body but solonoids are 180degrees out – simply swapped over solonoids and now just got to test it!! Thanks

Mike.Hi Mike,
Thanks for that, much appreciated but also a bit embarrsed. I did search for frf 669 with and without frontline but got nowt. Obviously justing taking the space out between the letters and the numbers made all the difference – and I thought I was resonably good at using search engines.

Anyway, I’ll give the customer the bad news that it’s and Haier and I think I’ll give this one a miss.
Thanks again

No worries mate. I was just pleased with myself for spotting something I’d never seen before and as I’ve now got a phone with a decent camera(even though it’s a hand me down from the misses) I took a few pictures and posted accordingly.
The lady was that chuffed she gave me tip by rounding my bill up – only Β£2.50 but enough for me to buy a pint when I go for Sunday lunch today. π π π π

You were spot on eastlmark. I thought that initially but then the lady said, it can’t possibly, I paid some one to disconnect it last year. Plumber had charged her for disconnecting it but had just unpluged it!! It was obviously faulty and allowing the resin to get in to the cold water feed for the house.
When the stuff (Resin) is wet it’s almost like sand but larger sized particles. When it’s dry it’s like beads and spreads every where…
I just thought I’d share my findings, no doubt many of you have seen it before but first time for me.
What’s the resin called ?- can’t remember, must have covered it in DW training but can’t remember.

Sorted π π π π
A couple of broken wires at the base of the door. All wrapped in the protective tape…what a horrible mess… so two broken wires, had to repair 4 others……
The damaged suppressor threw me off track a bit. I should have gone back to basic fault finding…
We live and learn. I think I know this particular model inside out now…
Thanks to all for the help….
