Just go to the Samsung website and put in the model and serial number and you can download one for free.

As Brian said a seized compressor is the most likely fault.

It is an engineers job to replace it, but as it is 14 years old I would say it is beyond economical repair.

The most likely fault on this model is the thermostat.

To access the thermostat you have to squeeze the top & bottom of the light switch actuator and give it a good pull.

The screw is underneath the switch undo the screw and then you can remove the housing by pulling it forward.

This model is not the easiest to change a stat.

It should not freeze at the bottom.

You need to check the vent at the bottom as it sounds like the air from the freezer is leaking back into the fridge at the bottom vent.

Bosch / Siemens American fridge freezers are just rebadged Daewoo but cost four times more.

And four times more for the parts but the working parts are the same and the working parts are even marked Daewoo.

If the fan is working then it is most likely working normally.

If the defuser and sensor in the defuser fails it stops cooling or freezes in the fridge.

It is warmer in the defuser as it has a heater to stop the flap freezing.

The leak can normally be found on the pipe work in the defrost tray.

The pipe work can be repaired and then it can be re gassed

If you are buying a new American type to replace it I recommend Dawoo for reliability and spares cost.

You need to check the cooling fan is working as well.

Yes it would be a compressor or gas leak.

On the whirlpool American style the pipe work can rust and leak in the defrost drain tray.

This can be repaired but you will need someone F Gas registered to repair it if it has a leak and it is on R134a refrigerant.

If the compressor is running and making the normal noises before it trips then most likely a heater.

If the appliance trips before the compressor cuts in then it could be the compressor or the heater.

It will be the thermal fuse faulty and needs replacing. The two sensors and heater sounds ok with the readings you have given.

The part you mention is a thermal fuse and should have continuity.

This is the fault you need to replace it.
