If it was my customer I would advise if it is the correct part I would fit it free off charge as they paid for the last Visit.
I would advise that I was unable to warranty the repair as it is the customers part and you will fit it as a good will visit.
So any other problems after the part is fitted would be chargeable.
If the customer is not willing to except the conditions then I would not fit the part.
I had a recent call the same for a letting agent and advised the conditions above.
This was for an obsolete oven switch.
This is what I do but it is up to you if you want to fit the part as it is there part and you do not have to fit it.

Main oven switch or safety cut out.

If it has a digital clock make sure you have a time set and the display is not flashing.
The ovens in most cases only work with the time set.
If that is not the problem then it may be a faulty safety cut out stat.
Or the oven main switch.

You may have been supplied with an incorrect motor.
It sounds like you have received an evaporator motor by mistake.
To give any more help we would require the model number and a picture of the existing motor and the motor you have been supplied.
I would check with the supplier to see if you have been sent the correct part.

ParticipantRe: Samsung RL33SBNS Running Hot
It is important to have room at the sides as this is where most of the dispersion of heat takes place on this model.
If it runs hot the compressor runs hot and this will lead to early failure of the compressor.
Raising it up on this model will not make any difference as the sides is where most of the heat is lost.
If you do not have much room you need a model with a condenser fon motor.

Sounds like a ventilation problem you should have about a 2 inch gap each side as well as space at the back and above.
The condenser grill at the back is covered in so the refrigerant has to cool at the sides and back.

ParticipantRe: Freezer problem removing back panel
First try turning it off for 48 hours with the doors open to carry out a full defrost.
Then turn it back on to see if that has solved the problem.
The rear panel most likely clips on but if there is any ice behind the panel it will not come off.
Just defrosting it may cure the problem without having to take it apart.

You will need to contact LIEBHERR for this part but LIEBHERR spares are not cheap.

ParticipantRe: LG SxS FR/FRZ GWL207 Leaking
If it is leaking have you checked the fitting under the kick plate at the front.
If it is leaking from the pipe it self near the bottom of the door and it is too short to join with a push fit connector then a new door is required as the pipe is foamed in.
The most likely place for a leak is the connector at the bottom the pipe can sometimes break as it enters the connector near the protection spring over the pipe on the more recent models.

From your description if it is cutting out ok then it will be the fridge evaporator sensor and you would need the mod kit that comes complete with instructions, sensor holder and sensor.

ParticipantRe: Meile KFN12923 – Fridge only triggers cooling at 14ºC
If is running so hot you cannot keep your finger on it then it may be low on refrigerant as this model has a diverted valve for the refrigerant and gives the freezer priority over the fridge.
So the fridge will not cool if the freezer is not down to temperature.
When the freezer is correct temperature it diverts the refrigerant to the fridge.
It will need an engineer to check.

The most likely fault looking at the picture on this model is the fridge evaporator sensor.
The description of the fault also sounds like the sensor is faulty.
If the compressor is hot then it will be a refrigerant fault if it is cool or only slightly warm it will be the sensor.
This model has a foamed in sensor so you will need the fridge evaporator sensor modification kit.
It comes complete with instructions, sensor, and new sensor holder.
The kit has recently gone up in price and is not cheap it also requires good DIY skills to fit.

ParticipantRe: Thermostat burnt out 🙁 need a replacement pls
If the fan is working then the stat is working. You need to check if the Cut out stat in the picture has continuity but normally this cuts out the fan as well if it has failed.
It is more likely to be the fan oven element faulty.
