Keep finger prints off the bulb as this can cause heat spots on the bulb.

If you have to use your fingers on the bulb wipe it with a soft cloth before putting the cover on.

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

    A customer phoned me today.

Can you repair a three year old Beko fridge freezer.

I said I can call and see if it can be repaired and if it is repairable I can repair it.

I advised on my call charge and she replied it is only three years old I do not expect to pay to have a three year old fridge freezer repaired.

I advised her she would need to contact the company she purchased it from or Beko if she was unhappy it has only lasted Three years.

She replied I have already done that and been told it is out of guarantee so that is why I phoned you after seeing your good reviews on the internet.

I advised of my charges as It is out of Guarantee and she just said I think it should be repaired free of charge.

She then said I am fed up with all you people I just want it repaired and do not expect to have to pay to repair a three year old Fridge.

She then put the phone down.

    Another satisfied customer :eeek:

You are better off with the Ocean than some of the newer Fridge / Freezers.

I am glad it solved your problem.

Is the door turning off the light switch.

Check to see if the light turns off.

A good way is to put your mobile phone on video record and put it in the fridge.

Close the door leave it shut for 5 seconds the open the door and take the phone out and look at the video.

With a name like Warburton it sounds like he was using his loaf and trying to bring home the bread.

It looks like he was out to slice your profits.

You may have had a good engineer as long as you sent him to repair Breadmakers.

I bet he still thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread.

Re: New Fridge – not getting particularly cold

Most built in larder fridges do not get as cold as a fridge in a fridge / freezer.

You cannot go by the air temperature in this type of fridge and the only way to test is to put a cup of water in the fridge.

You can put one on the top shelf one on the middle shelf and one on the bottom shelf.

Leave them for 24 hours then test the temperature of the water in each cup.

It should be the same temperature in each cup the normal temperature should be between plus 4 & 6 c

If it is above 6 c then I would call out the manufacturer.

The green on the pipe at the back is nothing to worry about and you can wipe it off with a damp cloth or you can leave it as it will not do any harm.

    Re: samsung RS21 strange problem

You have to remove the display from the front it just clips on.

You have to start at the bottom you will see two small slots at the bottom where you can fit a flat screwdriver and twist then you have to slide the screw driver around the sides going carefully not to scratch the paint.

To refit you just have to push it or hit it with the side of your hand to clip it on.

Check the rubber and plastic backing between the PCB and buttons is not miss aligned as this may be the problem.

The fan motor in the freezer will be faulty and you will need an engineer to replace it.

    Re: small claims court case

I always tell them you sell all depts to a dept recovery company.

Tell her it is no longer your problem then but the dept recovery company take goods if they cannot get payments and she can end up with a dept running into hundreds of pounds as they add there cost to the dept.

I find this works and I always find the customer pays up.

You will not be able to use this this time as you have told her you will use the small claim court.

I always make it clear of my charges and that I take payment on the visit before visiting.
