Check the thermal fuse to see if you have a circuit ( Red & Black Wires ) if you have a circuit then the fuse is ok and it will be the defrost heater. If you have no circuit on the fuse it will be the fuse.

It is surprising how quick February will come around and as it is a corporate venue then it would help if everyone booked early.

Also rooms could be filled if left to the last minute to book.

This is just my opinion looking at the venue website as more than one event can be held at a time.

Brian would have more info on that if there are more Questions.

Looking foreword to seeing everyone again in February.

    Hi Brian.
I registered a few days ago when Ken posted.
How do you book rooms from the link.

I added a double room to the cart for Thursday and Friday but how do you get to the checkout basket to confirm room is booked.

    cheers

Dummy speed cameras would do a better job at less cost so nobody would know what cameras was real or fake.

Then you could also have random speedcheck signs.

I think this would work just as well with less disruption to the emergency services.

If it is in the evaporator then a new evaporator can be fitted.

Just because he was Samsung approved does not mean he is competent to do system Regas and repair work.

You will need to find a local engineer who is F Gas or Refcom registered or City & Guilds 2078 and 2079 safe handling of refrigerants.

    Hope this helps.

The evaporator service kits include the evaporator, the heaters and sensors and are not that expensive but you would need a quote for the call out and Labour.

I have now retired and you will find it is now harder to find engineers able to carry out system work so with the fault you have it may be better to put the money towards a new American style fridge freezer as the prices have come down.

The good engineers are getting less due to engineers retiring and less coming into the trade as more and more products are becoming throw away due to the lower cost to buy.

It is rare to get gas leaks on Samsung and if you get a leak it is normally in an area you can repair it.

As long as the leak can be found it can be repaired.

Not very friendly to Ambulance passengers.

I wonder how many more patients could have been saved without speed bumps.

It does sound like a defrost fault but it does not mean it is definitely the heater at fault.

You could buy and fit the heater and still have the same problem.

It needs to have all the parts in the defrost system tested to find the fault as it could be a sensor or other fault in the defrost system or even more than one component at fault.

You can still get a big shock even if the oven is unplugged.

So if you are working on it make sure you discharge the HV capacitor first.

Personally I would always choose one with a turntable.

At the end of the day it’s down to what suits you personally.

I would always go for a stainless steel interior.

    Panasonic are generally reliable.

Cheep ones with an enamel finish do not last long.
