No wheels, its a vented jobby, the stretch belt pulls down so hard on drum that it twists when going clockwise & scrapes off back wall of dryer.
Damn bad design of tumble dryer, most of them shear off shaft after a year, i saw nothing wrong with the old style drive system with, belt tensioners

The new dishwashers have the heater built-in on the pump section of the circulation motor, others had them a a long trough-flow type pipe on side of machine.

You sure its not on rinse?
They would show up a fault if not working corretly.

Model num’ would be helpful.. G summit i presume

As with all appliances, remove plug first.

When you say power do you mean you have a live conection, did you check only with a phase tester?
This is dangerous to make live tests & should only be done by an electrician.

For the appliance to work you also need a neutral. 💡
Best to check both live & neutral wires with a continuity tester.

Worth checking if machine has hose-park switch on back of machine as these cut off supply to motor..

I have repaired many PCBs too by the way, but best to make those checks first.

    Good.

miele dishwashers are succeptable to bad water pressure & this machine may not fill with enough water before circulation motor starts, the amount of water then isn’t enough to switch on pressure switch on heater, it should show a fault code..

do you know what this fault is?

timing can be extended in service mode i think which should cure the problem

Thanks brian, would an NTC fault abort the programme before taking in water? I just pumps out as soon as you select any program & then beeps & flashes continuously, do they do a self test on every component on start-up?

    thanks in advance

Dunno if you’ve this one repaired yet, but i’ve come across this problem a few times with Miele d’washers, sometimes its as simple as a blocked inlet water filter & machine slow to fill .. hence not enough water in system to operate pressure switch..

Shouldn’t there be a feedback from the tacho to module?
Thought it would register as a fault if no signal was received from it.

All connections look good, you don’t happen to have a wiring diagram for motor, or any idea as to what the readings should be?

    Re: Miele G646 SC

Clayside might just have hit nail on head about machine not sensing pressure from circulation but from experience its more likely to be a fill time out.
Check inlet hose filter, inlet hose for kinks, remove top & left hand side panel & check water is coming into fill chamber, some of these 646’s have a flowmeter on inlet hose.
Most of them monitor water level over a short period of time & if correct level isn’t achieved fault is shown.
Circulation pump is easilly removed if needed, check impellors for obstruction.

Are clothes properly spun when taken from washing machine & is the dryer being overloaded?

Had a similar problem with Hoover & it was a faulty pressure switch. Going into flood protection intermittently.
