Prewash led flashing means, timed out on fill. Can be an open circuit solenoid valve, a clogged filter on solenoid valve, water supply off etc. More than not i find that the fault is caused by syphoning, the water is draining after pump has stopped. Look for dirt or grime build up in waste drain pipe, this tends to seal air gap required. I normally cut end off waste hose from machine.

These machines are made for Miele by Liebherr. I had one of these give a lot of this problem F4, model was (8462). When the machine defrosts the seal on the NTC lets in moisture which gives a fault reading. I had one machine that i replaced several components but a month or so down the line it arose again. I disconnected buzzer for customer & on advice of Miele technical sealed NTC probes with silicone. Not heard anything back since.

Its an NTC fault. Think its the one in air duct. Check Fan is working properly, you have to bypass freezer door switch to see if it runs ok, the fans give trouble. Also i’ve had some of the thermistor seals let in moisture. Silicone smeared on seal should sort it out.

Re: miele dishwasher g673 all lights flash

As with most dishwashers it attempts to pump out water firstly, perhaps it isn’t getting the water out & theres a fault coming up? Have you looked in the sump where the pump inpellor is located?
See the non return valve at pump, open this & look for obstruction.
If you are not getting anywhere ring Miele & ask for technical dept’ they are usaually quite helpful.

What are the letters after model number? Have you actually seen it? Which led’s are on? Does it allow you to set programme and if so how long will it run before stopping? Check simple things first like, no water in base operating float switch. Heater element is ok, water is on at valve etc . Had heter relays go on these but not much else. I’ve never had one go crazy like this.

Hi Baron, welcome to the European Union.
Most of the major electronic boards or processors as you describe them are quite expensive. over €300 for one of them. The good news is that they normally don’t give trouble. I don’t know how experienced you are with this type of machine. The first place i would investicate would be the On/Off switch module, check for bad connection at the cable/plug edge connectors. These tend to fail if they are contaminated with water or soap powder. Take care to disconnect electrical supply/power from appliance first. 💡

Got to be the pressure exerted on the bearing by the direct drive belt. Never had as much bother with the ones with belt tensioners..

    Re: adp 8332.optical water indicator????

It sends a light signal through the water & the is measured by a receiver, if the water is clean it saves rinsing, & if still dirty will do further rinses, thats how the Miele one works anyhow

Re: Hotpoint WMA64 how to get into diagnostic programme

All cabling from motor went direct to power board, i think, i used the wiring diagram you sent me to try & trace wires, it showed motor loom to chopper board, then from chopper board to power board. On this machine there is only one board (that i can find) located piggy-backed behind facia panel. Also there are more connections on board than on diagram so i presumed its a combined board.
