Take the front off the appliance, then the endplate comes off the motor without taking out the motor, tacho coil, brushes can be inspected & changed if necessary. Normally brushes when changed cure the problem of no motor action, just remember to push them inwards as they seat in holder until motor endplate is put back onto motor.

Does the pump run? You could run a lead to run pump on test it.

Attached to motor to keep tension on it. If you look at right hand side of motor from rear, the hook of spring should fix to screw that runs along the length of motor.

Most of the fresh ones (after Feb’09) will be fixed with a screw securing them in place.
Think if its a split tub you can do it, but if welded tub only way you could get at the screws is by removing the top weight and drilling a hole carefully in outer tub (after tricky measuring to find exact position), this then has to be sealed by a bung obviously after fitting screws again carefully (with magnetic screwdriver) to prevent dropping screws in.

Other than that its a new welded tub to be replaced.

Most likely the P.C.Bs have come from a different model, or a new type of P.C.B has been fitted after a certain production run of the model, manufacturersdo this regularly. You need to quote model & ser’ number when trying to purchase spares for “her” as obviously “she” is a feminine appliance.

Check the fill circuit, if its not doing anything there, perhaps thats where the fault lies.
They are very problematic on filling, they should count 4 litres of water via a flowmeter before progressing to wash. Check water valve, flowmeter, cabling to flowmeter & water valves as these fine wires are prone to breaking in the loom.

Most likely the pressure sensor is faulty, they give a lot of bother on this model & theres a modification kit available for them to resolve the problem.

Think its to prevent condensation forming around door seals, theres a heater inbedded in door divide, you may find it warm to touch.

Hard to say, but it sounds as the compressor is not starting & going out on overload, possible the capacitor or starting gear of compressor has loosened or damaged, otherwise it’s going to be costly to get a compressor changed.

Have changed dozens of them, but never had them opening and closing of their own accord, thinking its a faulty P.C.B, but would advise you get an Engineer to check it out for you.

grooster wrote:Is this a recall or modification? Is this something a customer can call beko to complain about and get done for free. It sounds like it’s going to be a big job (expensive) to swap 2 oven doors on this range cooker, especially with it being a friend.
    Cheers

Not recall as far as i’m aware, but I think they have learned from production & made/designed a better quality door now which can be ordered to replace original one. Beko parts are not expensive, the customer could however complain to the manufacturers and ask for it to be sorted out as a “goodwill” gesture and see how they get on. Beko are quite good at sorting out issues like this even if its outside warranty.

Leisure/Beko, I think the door has been modified to overcome this issue, theres an updated design of door with 2 inner glass panels and a rubber seal betwen the 2 inner glass panels, its triple glazed now.
Also as I previously posted there is a drip tray that can be fitted below the oven door on a lot of these Beko/Leisure cookers & ranges to collect dribbles.

Not sure that cutting the seal would be effective as these have enough of a problem keeping oven cavity up to temperature without losing heat through door seal gap.

Brez, with power off to appliance when working on it, don’t blow into the pressure sensor device as it’ll more than likely damage it, blow down the pressure hose towards the chamber this will dislodge any gunge in pressure vessel that may be giving a false reading that appliance hasn’t completely drained.
Another thought, you say its a fairly new one, have these nordMende appliances not got a 3 year warranty on them.

The top comes off & back panel comes off you can take off front panel too if need be by removing fascia etc.
Tip it back to get access to underneath as base is open on them too I think.
