Doubt if your little on should be blamed for this, from experience I find the cause of the P.C.Bs frying is the appliances being left switched on all the time, if they are left powered on at wall switch & on/off button left in for long periods the door interlocks get too hot, go poop & take out the board.

Re: BEKO DW600 doesn’t use salt?

How often do you put in salt, does it show red warning light on the display where the salt indicator is for instance (which is an indicator for you to refill).
Somtimes if water is not filled into the regeneration tank as the user manual tells you to do when you first get & the salt is not stirred when put into the container it solidifies, this can mean that the salt does not get used up as its not turned to brine but rather solid.

Its possible its not keeping temp’ low enough, try putting a thermometer in it & see if its what it should be.
There may be a problem with a sensor for instance, some of there products will go into auto-pilot if theres a sensor faulty.
They will continue to operate but on a timed running rather than going by the sensors imput.

Most likely the pet hair/fluff has been dislodged & particles have burned off on heater element. Run a few cycles with no clothing in or better still run for a while on cool only to see if it will shift the odour.

Most likely a heater fault, power off if doing any testing of components.

Is it running with a small load by any chance? If you look inside drum under door aperture you will notice 2 sensor bars, if no damp clothing come in contact with these bars on sensor setting it will shut off.
    Check condenser for blockages also.

    Power off first of course…
Easy way around it is to cut out the original thermal cut-out which I believe may be crimped in the loom, fit 2 spade connectors on the cables cut, fit the cables to the thermal cut out that you now have, there should be a fixing point to the side of the oven that the bracket will attach to, any local engineer worth his salt will have done loads of these & will do it if you don’t feel competant.
The part needed is actually 4410101001 which includes cable & connectors etc.

Can you see the saucepan/cookpot symbol in the display which should indicate its in manual position?

    Manual use
By pressing simultaneously 2 and 3 buttons (the automatic
symbol will be erased), the saucepan symbol lights up.
This deletes any previously set programme.

Re: Zanussi ZWD 1472 W Washing Machine Fault E51

E51 = PCB fault current leakage from motor or from wiring.
Check if there was damage to motor loom or plug at motor, try replacing said resistor but i’d reckon you need a new P.C.B.

Power off of course when working on or doing testing to appliance.

Obviously theres a short somewhere, tests need to be carried out to find out where using a test meter with the power off of course, most likely culprit is the element.

Clock needs to be set in MANUAL position for oven (fan or light)to work, read the instruction manual for instructions on how to set it.

Not sure what the problem is, maybe you have’nt set it in vacation mode correctly, have a look at the instruction book again, failing that, you can turn off water to appliance if you are going away on hols’.
