Re: Zanussi ZDT6255 5-beeps error (Motor fault)

The circulation pump may be leaking water into base, the water may have risen enough to damage motor, bearings may be seized. Hard to tell without testing it t hough. An engineer should be able to confirn this for you or another fault & advise you of repairs needed.

4 lights flashing normally points to door lock fault, does it flash 4 times red, or red & green?

Re: BEKO DRCS68 condenser dryer fault

It is operated on & off, doesn’t run all the time. Try running appliance on timed settings, as sensors may be switching it off in Auto dry mode. When it stops for whatever reason you get message:- tank full & clean filters irrespective of whether tank is full or filters need cleaning, this is a reminder to customer. Check cable from p.c.b to pump & connections at p.c.b are tight, possible p.c.b fault

If you go into service mode & check last fault code, post back, likely once you go in & come out of service mode it will reset.

Re: Beko Washing Machines – Intermittent lack of Spin

Many lack of spins are because of out of balance. Check fault code to confirm last error. Armature with too much carbon on it can cause no motor action, as can bad brush contact. Looms connections to P.C.B & motor should all be checked for good connection. Motor not being able to turn on first wash rotation can lead to overheated segment of armature symtoms you describe.

Re: Miele W528 flashing rinse light

Well I doubt it’ll run perfectly for long, get the proper brushes, the actually fact that one was worn completely & the other not too bad means your motor is’nt in too good of nick, not correct brushes will only expediate its demise.

Re: Miele W528 flashing rinse light

Rinse light flashing denotes drive motor fault, likely its worn brushes. Back end plate comes off motor completely to replace brushes. Not the easiest for an inexperienced person. Go for it if you feel up to it (power off of course) or contact a local repair guy.

NTC is reading high temp’, (over 180c) check airways, fan blockage perhaps.

Re: Belling IDW604 thermostat switch defective?

Maybe it is underfilling with water, & theres not enough to keep heater pressure switch on, try throwing in a pint of water after its started to see if it continues & heats as it should.
As far as I remember the appliance should heat to the required setting & washes for a further 10 min’s after the temp’ has been reached.
NTC should read approx 5000-6000 ohms at 20 degrees & reading should go down as the temp’ increases, to about 600 – 650 ohms at 60 degrees.

    Re: Miele T490 Tumble Dryer

Check brush that runs on sensor bars, if excessive dust on sensor then it can go off too soon, if no clothing in drum on automatic programme it will shut off early. Obviously check airways for blockages & NTC as if its faulty it will throw up that fault too.
