Sometimes a heater fault on the drier will throw up strange faults which aren’t what the code refers to. E20s are drain faults, but if theres an earth leak on the drier heater it may be displayed in error. You need to have the heater element resistance to earth checked & replaced if its low. Power off of course while working or testing the appliance.

Times are in the instruction manual, three hours/ish sounds like the time some programmes would take, think the eco ones are the longest. Be aware that if there is an unbalanced load detected, the machine will try up to 10 times to correct the unbalanced load by restarting distribution.

Re: Miele W460 How the Hell?

The fascia front prises down a few mm & then comes out. If you look at the top of it theres a small indentation where you can insert a small blade of a screwdriver. Prise it down slightly & it will pop out from the top. This will allow acess to screws you need to get at.
To refit put it in the groove at bottom & push it down & inwards.

Re: Help. My Beko washing machine is stuck on wash cycle.

Perhaps theres something stuck in the pump & its not emptied, or there may be a heater fault & its continuously washing expecting heater to heat but this is not happeneing.
    Have you checked the filter?
When you say its stuck on wash cycle what do yu mean, doe’s it tumble all the time without moving on, or does it just fill & sit there doing nothing?

    Re: Miele W970 Bearing Change

Its not the most difficult of appliances to work at, but i’ve been working on Mieles for many years & only ever had to do bearing changes on Semi Commercial machines which were running 8 hours per day, never had to do a domestic washer bearing replacement. Some of them were guaranteed against bearing failure for 10 yrs by Miele?

Re: Beko DRVS62W T/dryer not heating

When you say popped, what were they reading, on the heater theres a T.O.C that can go open circuit & an N.T.C that changes reading depending on temp’, on front at top theres another N.T.C with a long lead connecting to earth. N.T.Cs are not interchangeable with T.O.Cs. Basically you can check in timed mode that its heating, in sensor/auto position heaters will shut off after a few seconds if no wet clothes are sensed by bars under door inside drum.
There is a service mode for the dryer to test components posted on this page here….

Check wiring loom to valves for shorts, sometimes if appliance has been overloaded top weight can bash cables, check connections to NTC also.

Loom from p.c.b to interlock & interlock should be changed if theres sign of overheating. Advise customer to switch off machine as they will cook interlock if its left switched on continuously.
