    Re: Whirlpool ADG6340AV hose

Not counting the big one in the middle where the heater connects, how many other outlets are there on the spray pump?

Is it like this – http://www.4whirlpool.co.uk/cgi-bin/pic.pl?pid=954230 Or is there another outlet as well?

If you mean the short hose that is moulded onto the spray pump casing, i don’t think it is available. Suggest you sort through any small hoses you have and try and make do, because I think the intention is to make you buy a complete new unit. 😈

Thanks for that Chris, I will be trying the Beko version out on the very next Whirlpool NTC failure I get. 😉

Anyone know the part number for Beko NTC?

It’s the finger shaped object located front & centre in the base – half turn screw fit – (the thermistor) part number: 481228268051.

I would be interested to know if anyone has ever tried fitting the Beko NTC – http://www.4beko.co.uk/cgi-bin/product. … art=ntc{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}20 to a whirlpool d/w and if it worked? Much much cheaper!

Is this the part you are looking for? 😯 Always try an independent firm first before you go to Hotpoint 8) Fitting door handles can be tricky, if you have any doubts at all ring your local independent repairers. (Often saves money in the long run) 😉

NTC failure, pressure switch (often only needs cleaning!) or water in base are common faults on these machines.

Hi Martin thanks for the reply,

They have forked out for the valuation fee £200 and the search fees £156. The Solicitor now wants £385 + vat for work already done up to present.

Once that is paid will advise them on chances of re-couping loses. 😡 Once the legal fraternity are involved the zeros quickly mount up 👿 They are just trying to assess whether it’s worth their while persuing it.

It may end up being a tough lesson for them, at an early age 😈 – “BUYER BEWARE”

Has it got a short corrugated hose at the front, situated from left to centre in the base of the machine, this gets blocked up, resulting in not enough water 🙁
