If it is the flow meter as Comet suggest then this is not an expensive part (less than a tenner). Beko call it a “counter”.

Hello Mr Tight A*se, no solution that I know of, give us the ENR model number and we can get you the part number and price to replace, may be cheaper than you think.

Iadom will be spot on with suspension problem, have a look at your door seal, does it look all wrinkled at the right hand side?, if so this can confirm suspension probs.

If you wish to venture further, unplug machine from wall socket remove two screws from rear to release and remove top lid and check that the top front and rear tub retaining springs are not broken.

The drain pump may be running due to the anti flood device being activated.

First , unplug machine from wall socket making it safe, then pull the machine out and tip it back, water may come out. If so then it confirms anti flood had activated. In any case you will have to get an engineer as DIY repairs to dishwashers are not to be recommended.

When you switch machine on, the drain pump should acitvate first, then water should come in.

When you switch on do you hear anything happening?.

Must admit, it is very very rare that I take an appliance away for repair.

    Hello Steve,

Yes you do have to replace the motor end, comes complete with carbons.

Bosch have a part number change which is 496876.

Remember to unplug before working on the appliance.

Does sound like the wash motor, a common problem, at the stage when the machine has brought in water the wash motor is then activated, at this stage you may hear a rough rumbling sound.

If so then you have a wash motor prob of which I have fitted many.

I use two bits of wedge shaped wood and tap these between spring and concrete at 12 o’clock and 9 o’clock position then feed spring round.

If you have no space check out your local storage rental businesses.

I rent out one, have my own key and can store up to eight machines doubled up, get them from DAD, tho they do have a minimum spend of £500.

Yep I have also had two letters both gone staight in the bin, as I work from home it should not affect me but they will have to visit to find that out.

Would’nt it be nice that every time we completed a repair, got paid, then every time the customer used the appliance we got a small financial percentage to cover the work we had allready been paid for………… dream on.
