All depends on labour charge in London. I would do it but in Cheshire. Try thermometer first and get back to us. smoke usually means over heating unless there is a lot of fat from grilling.

Not that expensive but cheaper than new oven! I had a lady who was so pleased with her repair she kindly donated some hot pasties to me. 😀

Received IWMS kit.. Is there any modifications from the original to this one? I was expecting to see a double solenoid valve to be fitted in kit. This has single solenoid with diaphraghm.

If you know anybody with an oven thermometer to check temp selected against actual temp. If the fan in the oven is spinning o.k. i suspect the oven to have a temperature control fault. Idont know if there is one in your area but John Lewis sell them. Otherwise cliking on Repairs@ on LHS of screen may be able to help you regarding fixing it.

Does it appear hotter than usual/burning food/taking longer for the light to go out when it has reached temperature?

Yes have had to “squash” the ends of the holder to get them to stay in.

The defrost drain hole at the back of the fridge (inside)may be blocked and require cleaning. a plastic straw may unblock it. If the light is on and the fridge is not running it may well be thermostat. Worthwhile getting it looked at and not too expensive. Check Repairs@ on LHS of page.

Looks like a fill problem. Short of checking tap is switched on and inlet hose is not kinked you will need an engineer for this one. Check out Repairs@ on LHS of screen.

What you can test is turn off cold tap and check if it fills still overnight. One of the valves (triple) feeds the condensor so you will not see it weeping. If no joy repeat with hot. Hopefully it is the hot as this is the cheaper of the two.

If those factory set screws have been adjusted as they look like the level settings will never be the same.
There are two level settings the lower for the wash, the higher for the rinse/wool cycles. Sounds like the second contact set is working (the 20 series) but the first set is not registering for some reason. Load current of the heater may have done something to the contacts(possibly). A meter Or engineer)is the only way to tell.

The lower panel is the only one that needs to come off. Capacitor is in the vicinity of the motor. Unplug first.
