    Re: Currys couldn’t install?

Am charging £85 to deinstall integrated dishwasher dispose of and fit new one delivered by comet. Customer has been billed for removal of old appliance (as long it is sitting in the middle of the kitchen) but has not been told verbally that the door panel has to be removed and hoses disconnected.

Yes repaired a lovely 9525 that i fitted bearings to 3 years ago. a set of motor brushes cured the no spin fault. Customer knows from her family/friendsthat their new machines are not lasting (one has had 6 callouts from new)and she will pay anything for repair on the 9525.

For example went to one yesterday. Shredded tissue paper everywhere had ripped front support bearings out of drum housing.

Re: Hotpoint Mistral Plus (model 8596P) Fridge Freezer Temp

Can the fan be heard running in the freezer. Opening and closing the fridge door will change the state of the fan operation (fridge light on or off)?

This is the one that puts the fridge light on dimly if ouside is too cold. It is in the house. Have ordered board from QER. Hopefully compressor is not blown. Will post findings.

    Re: After 6pm calls

It suits me. I am in the middle of doing up house and drop one toolbox to pick up another when the phone rings. Also have just moved county to be nearer to family so am starting again business wise. So i am quiet until the word of mouth machine gets fully operational. I have to grab everything that comes my way or someone else will or customer makes trip to comet. When established (again) this will change.

Thanks for info Chris. Have also seen them go on the 2 year old whirlpool vented dryers as well. Not had one yet on the older models though.

Re: indesit cooker not heating up

The grill should work still. The conventional oven setting may work(top/bottom elements) Does the red light to say that the oven is switched on come on? This is the one that goes off when the oven is hot.
There is no service booklet for these. It is possible that something else may have been damaged when the fuse blew. Pop up your postcode or check directories section on left for a repairer.

Re: indesit cooker not heating up

It is possible that the fan oven element has failed. If you are going to look yourself Please remove power supply to cooker. Otherwise if you click on the red toolbox there may be a repairer in your area.
