Re: Looking to buy a a Pocket PC or Smartphone?

our local mobile phone shop is selling a HP ipaq 6515 for £150 he said its refurbished :rolls: (he’s wiped it over!)

i was impressed, he let me have a go, just the right size not too big he said it multi banded??, how do i go about getting contract pay monthly if i buy this? is it worth laying out for one as most are free with a contract anyway arnt they? anyone know of good deals with pay monthly contract, iv been looking at t mobile web site, i got ripped off a few years ago with redemption, the firm who supplied the phone went bust when i tryed to claim my rental money back,

Re: call divert to a mobile

Martin im doing this at the moment any exsisting customer always phones my mobile this way,and that would bring the percentage up
but exclude my exsisting customer base the percentage of new 1st time customers dont always phone, and at the moment i need all the calls i can get as iv been off work for 1 year with prostrate inflamation 😥 as i couldent sit in the car or van for long as its like having a golf ball shoved up your Ar*e H*le, any way things are a bit better now and im scouting for work, just before i had to stop work i had more work than i could cope with so i suppose landline problems wasent too much of an issue, hey that reminds me its a brill way to get advertising salepeople off the phone straght away without telling them were to get off, tell em you have to much work, it leaves them stuckand speachless 😆

I wait outside until the parent arrives, i phone em at the door politely tell em they have 15 min to get there or else, most kids home alone are left with a telephone contact number.

About 10 years back i went to fix a washer in a house and was a bearing job, he asked me how long it would take i said about a hour, he said he was just nipping out about 10 mins later i heard what sounded like a baby crying upstairs, i thought well the mother must be up there, this went on for a while curiosity got the better of me i shouted upstairs to see if anyone was there, no one there hed gone out and left the baby alone he dident return for another hour, turns out he was a taxi driver and he came back inbetween jobs to check on the baby, he saw no wrong whatso in this, i played it cool as i was getting real wound up left and reported him, god knows were the babys mother was?

Yes we have 2 pc’s one the first one i bought had windows xp already up and running and came with xp disc unopened and untouched? so who ever has installed it i presume they have used the key of this disc.

so i see your point if i try to put this disc into our new machine running vista it might reject it, and how do they now if i disc is used on multiple pc’s? i take it information is sent and logged over the netto microsoft?

i quote: If you like having a back seat driver nagging you all the bloody time you will love Vista, there are lots of people out there making a fortune reverting PC’s back to XP.

yer iv gone from xp to vista , who ever designed Indeshit upps sorry Indesit circuit boards i bet is the is the same guy who made windows vista, when i save a file i dont know how to find it again, my desktop thingy majigs are massive its like why are they so big? and that can i have you permission to continue?? 😈 err yes again why does it need permission?
Yes and does anybody know someone that can actually repair an Indesit washing machine?

And can anybody tell me iv been sat looking at a windows xp installation disc from my last pc, will it work on this one, i mean can i overwrite vista and go back to xp?

thanks HP ipaq 6515 sounds good to me, i have been looking and like the sound of touch screen, i take it is touch screen with a pen and can you write in your own handwriting and save it?, were do you keep the pen? sounds daft but id loose it within five mins
iv been trading now for few years and iv come to see the benefits of retaining all information about customers, especially for bookkeeping ease and for also i want to begin to focus on sales as upto now just sell the odd appliance her and there

funny the other day i received a handwrited letter from a customer, i thought “what a complaint!” but then it said “can you repair a hoover twin tub……..” asking for a booking? obviously no telephone number, what do i do write back saying “yes id do repair them” and when would you like a booking?

thanks iadom, iv seen door lock blow tracks many times before its not that so i think i’ll look for wiring problems, i have seen this were the wires rub up against cabinet but normally blow the plug top fuse or trip, but maybe this time the timer fuse got there first?
