affraid we will need the model number its etched on the stainless steel door as you open it, but it sounds like the flood protection has activated meaning the base has flooded but remember to remove plug before you investigate smartin

there is a coversion for these machines which needs 3 parts,drain heater 642980,module 644127, aluminium insulation sheet for top of evaporator 479167 all of these parts will need to be fitted to cure problem im affraid unless its alreadt been done smartin

if its the the 1 im thinking of,has it got a small plug on the on the right end of the module with 3 or 4 brown & blue small wires coming out then there is a modification to bypass internal fuse im sure someone else will have the mod sheet in pdf smartin

dryer ntc failure, unplug machine from mains,lid off look down to where dryer duct meets door gasket, on the left see you will see it pushed into rubber bellows with 2 wires coming out hope this helps smartin

if you trace the wires from the element up all the connectors for the sensor,heater and thermal fuse are there, yellow wires are the defrost sensor, red and black are heater and thermal fuse, thermal fuse is tucked behind evaporator.

unplug machine 1st. there is no evaporator in the fridge in this machine all freezing is done in freezer and air blown into fridge, you will need to test thermal fuse,heater and defrost sensor with a multimeter like r600a said.

as gegsy said these can kill even when off; they store a massive amount of electricity to fire magnetron, and when repaired it should be tested for microwave leaks and any changes in power output and the results noted there are many engineers on here who dont touch them because you dont get any second chances with these.

is now sorted, sent letter to company and they are reimbursing me which is good at least i dont have to phone watchdog now 😆 .

or wrigleys 49p available at most corner shops 😀 me trusty gas soldering iron is great for most small jobs just dont breath in the fumes from the tub lol

haha look outside the window is it a full moon tonight ? lol oh for those who dont know apparently some years ago research was done on full moons and behaviour the long and the short of it is its a proven fact that there are more nutters about on full moons than any other time 😆 moreso if they own an rs21 i think lol
