if we could tie the tubs in with how calgon and all concentrates just turn the limescale to sludge and block the pressure chambers that cant be cleaned i think they might take notice, we could kill several birds with 1 stone 😉

Re: One piece welded tub seized solid!

you cant even remove the pressure chamber on indesit sealed tubs either, heres a scenario, got some good news and bad news mrs smith, the good news is its only a blockage of limescale, oh you use calgon do you, well unfortunately mrs smith because of the use of calgon, liquid tabs and cocentrated conditioners and washing at 30 degrees and heres the bad news its gonna cost you £190+ to repair. i think this will be a common scenario pretty soon especially with them using induction motors as well so no more easy brush jobs smartin

Re: Servis M3008W-DOOR SEALED BUT STILL LEAKING?

if it didnt have any obvious signs of leaks or holes and gasket and tube are fitted correctly i would start looking elswhere, these are quite prone to leaks from the outer tub, without looking at it its almost impossible to tell i can only go on past experience with these machines, if it is nothing obvious i would suggest calling an engineer, our repairs@ on the left will have someone in your area smartin

just remember water and electricity do not mix too well.

Re: INDESIT M3008W-DOOR SEALED BUT STILL LEAKING?

evostick impact is a good glue to use, the tube must be seated in the hole not through the hole. they are a pain to fit iv had them leak after fitting ,1 last thing just to rule out anything else what was actually wrong with the old door gasket ?

Re: INDESIT M3008W-DOOR SEALED BUT STILL LEAKING?

no im talking about the door seal, at the very bottom of the door seal ( 6 o’clock) the should be a small angled rubber tube about 4 centimeters long with a lip on it that attaches to a 3 centimeter hole on the front of the tub on the bottom, the best thing to do is unplug it release the gasket off of the shell ( not the drum ) feel underneath door gasket at 6 o,clock if you feel a hole in the drum then the door gasket isnt fitted right or you have the wrong gaket for that model as there are 1 or 2 that fit smartin

you did seal the drain spout on the bottom of door gasket into the hole in the tub didnt you ? otherwise it will leak worse smartin
