why did you change it out of curiosity ?, and if it wasnt doing it before the chances are you have wired it wrong, easiest way to tell is if the light goes off when you shut the door

its a machine that is made by servis, unfortunately they went out of business the end of last year.

it will most likely be the selector, but you will need to know if its the motorised type or not.

could be one of the elements, top bottom or fan element, could be the main switch which comes with the loom complete, for a complete novice this isnt really the oven to be taking apart as it has a gas hob as well, the only way to check is to measure elements with a test meter and physically check the main switch with it unplugged of course.
