    Re: Winter Tyres?

Winter tyres are only suitable for a thin layer of snow. When the thick stuff lands, I struggle for ten minutes to fit my snow chains and then they always get me home. Plus its a nice smug feeling passing over the M77 seeing all the cars stuck below.:)

    Re: GPRS portable card machines

I have been using the more expensive streamline machine with roaming sim card for a few years now. Its great it creates a steady drip of payments into you account everyday. No more running to the bank with crumpled cheques hoping they will not bounce. The extra cost can be offset by more jobs done instead of running to the bank twice a week.

At the top center of the door use two thin blade screw drivers to flick the door latch catch back to the off position.
These d/washers have a water divertion valve to increase the water spray to the top or bottom spray arm.The divert motor mounted on the heater box could be faulty or jammed. remove bottom spray arm with torch look down theremaining tube if blocked by a metal disc try to manualy open with a long thin blade driver. test m/c this may not be a perminent repair. motor comes with heater box and is very expensive hope this helps.

Sounds like another compressor fault get you friend to listen for the BuZZ on start up then clicks of.Poss the control board(jazz board)comp starts with fridge door open then cuts out when door is closed.Remove the bottom plinth about half way along the base of the machine theres a plastic bag in which all the test instructions are hidden. Most likely to be the compressor though cutting in and out.

Re: Maytag GC2228EHB double door fridge feezer ice maker

sign on ice maker module says dont rotate 😳 this brakes a week plastic coupling, but as it did not work it was possibly busted any way.
White cover off 4 screws out slip off front module easy to follow circuit possibly motor burnt out check grey plastic prongs from plastic cam possibly now brocken. As they dont sell the module it has to be a replacement ice maker unit from Maytag or check agains some of the older whirlpool side/side fridge freezers as they have same unit also some bosch/siemens side /side fridge freezers.
Hope this is of some help

Re: Maytag Fridge Freezer not running

The pcb boards come as one unit called a( jazz board)
available from MaytagTel 01737 231 000 comes with instructions to fit.
Very simple to do but you must programme the new board with the code
No, which is listed below the model No, on inside of fridge.

Re: neff fridgefreezer side by side

Take of white cover of ice maker.using apiece of insullated wire bared back 10mil at each end place the bare ends into holes “H” and”T”with the freezer door light switch taped/held closed. This should start the icemaker motor without the thermistor .If motor does not turn (plastic dial on front rotates) disconnect power supply remove front of module Check motor through with a meter, check all wire connections and contacts at cam check wireharness/fuse links into side of ice maker from back of freezer.
If not loose contact or wire no spare parts available will have to be new ice maker.
If motor turns but does not start to fill when the dial mark is at the four oclock position could be a solenoid valve at back of appliance or chocked pipe if the solenoid is buzzing.

    Have fun. Stephen

Try contacting your local Euronics dealership. These independent shops may be happy to supply appliances to you at a discount price.Keeps there stock moving. They may charge you slightly more than other trade outlets
but you can save on storage/delivery costs ect. Eat out of there expensive
    warehouses.
Try the worst they could say is No.
