ParticipantRe: Hoover error codes
The error code is indicating a drain time out fault.Although the machine is emptying it could be taking longer to drain than it should.Obviously a partial blockage in tha drain system could cause this.
Check the filter for obstructions.spanishwhite
Participantyour previous post stated that it was flashing 7 times,if that is correct it is a flow meter fault.
I know very little about dishwashers so i would wait for the more knowledgable guys to respond.spanishwhite

ParticipantRe: New main power module for a Zanussi ZWF1437
Are you talking about the PCB (printed circuit board) ?
If so you may have 2 options.
Email the whitegoods shop with model number and the product number and they should be able to sort you one.
The 2nd option is to see if your old board can be repaired, there are companies that can do this.spanishwhite

ParticipantRe: Samsung Q1457V code: tE
Hi GCK, think you are on the wrong forum as this is for refrigeration.
However i think the error code is showing thermistor error.spanishwhite

Clive is quite right to point out that LIVE testing is both dangerous and unnecessary. This forum is open to people who have no electrical experience, and no knowledge of how to use meters etc.
The engineers that answer peoples queries will always assume that the poster has very little or no knowledge of the appliances.Safety has to be paramount therefore live testing will never be encouraged or overlooked.

Have to agree with Iadom,I see a lot of Fagor machines and the quality is nowhere near the Bosch

ParticipantRe: Tacho generator
Hi Martin,
I didn’t put make and model no as it is aFrench machine made for the Spanish market.I was hoping that the motor was common place across europe and maybe someone knew if there were any refurbished ones around.
After hours of searching it seems it is a Fagor/Brandt group machine and the only place you can get a replacement motor is France at 189 euros.
Looks like another machine heading to the scrap yard.spanishwhite
ParticipantRe: Bosch WFF2000 pump problem
If you are certain that it is the pump then yes it is worth doing.Have just removed a bra wire from a 26yr old bosch, not a mark on it and in pristine condition inside. You can always ask the whitegoods shop and they will confirm if the pump will fit your machine.

ParticipantThe orange glowing would really concern me.Call an engineer.Without looking at the machine myself I would say you have a serious problem with you bearings and or drum.
