Hi
Can you determine where the clicking is coming from? If it is coming from the compressor at the rear bottom then it will require a new one.
If the compressor is running then possibly a re-gas will sort the problem but there may be a leak that cant be repaired also.stevebunyan
ParticipantRe: Neff larder fridge thermostat
Hi
Yes a lot of fridges use NTC electronic probes that plug into a pcb. Often interior lights are controlled by a magnet in the door closing on a reed switch behind the plastic of the fridge body. The switch can go faulty but equal the PCB can as well.December 31, 2013 at 5:19 pm in reply to: Whirlpool Double Oven Model AKZ161 Lower Oven Failure #406855stevebunyan

It could be a number of things and with out putting a test meter on it, it would be hard to say but start with the TOC, then selector switch.

Hi
The Fill Metering Device/Jug does sound to the most likely conclusion. Try unplugging the connector to it and plugging it in again to make a better connection first. Dont forget to unplug the appliance from the mains before you work on it.stevebunyan

What I think Ken is getting at is start a new thread.
This thread is for the topic Chilly Warranty Shop.
Your posting on it dilutes the topic, which makes it hard reading having to sift through no relevant posts.

I am starting to get a bit nervous about these guys.
My first invoice went in on 28/8/2013 and to date haven’t been paid. They are on stop now.Its the same story with another member on here.
I called them earlier this week and was told Jamie Robertson was going into a meeting with the companies MD to discuss outstanding invoices.I have tried all day today to make contact only to get an engaged tone.
I will keep you posted but for now I would advise to hold off doing business with them.

Thats just brought back a memory.
On the farm that I grew up on we had a sack barrow with a crank handle that lifted the base up like a fork truck.
I bet you cant get them any more but great if you could.stevebunyan
ParticipantRe: refrigeration experts please
I would be checking for appliance level in that the body isn’t twisted.
Drawers not pushing on door, look for ice pushing drawer forward behind them where the evaporator is.
If its new that the door isn’t twisted.
Also check the door is on its hinges correctly as the doors are often taken off when getting it into the house.stevebunyan
ParticipantRe: what to charge?
I guess it all boils down to how much extra work you need. Time spent on there work is time away from your work. If you price it too low you could start to resent it when your work gets busy.
No one can tell you what to charge, it’s all down to what you can afford to do it for.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Mistral Fridge AND Freezer not cooling
Is there a build up of ice around the evaporator and fan in the freezer? If there is Could be either defrost element or one of the sensors/thermal fuse.
