Sending stuff by email is ok, but I think a more proffessional image is needed.
We need to get some glossy A4 style card folders with the same design as the wta pull up banners we have, keep the same theme and format throught out on the paper work.

    Hi Guys

Just thought is it worth sticking a note in the forums to ask the members if there are any issues or things they would like us to discuss.

Re: Who does u/g Daewoo repairs?

I was informed that if you buy through swift electrical then you can do your own servicing!

How it works regarding parts and invoicing I havent found out.
I will make some enquiries and let you know.

If that’s not it, look at PMP9096 on Connections. If you want this one pm me with an offer 😆 .

If it is the one on the right then i have one lying around on the shelve if you want one?

    Hi Dave

    No 1/2 load on this one a f a i k.

If not cleaning its could be cheap detergent, or customer not cleaning plates sufficiantly before going in.

I have had a motor issue where it had been leaking and sluggish to turn , so not pumping fast enough to wash or operate the heat pressure switch!

normal PCB issues other than that pretty basic.

    Hope that helps

    Re: some advice!

I did say I would pay for the repair to the damaged area only.

As far as conversation went i refused to discuss anything with the customer as he became agressive and dictating his requests.

I told him in the end i would only talk via the insurance company who sent us out in the first place.

I delt direct with Ron at SES who I explained the whole story too, only admitting to him that some damage had occured, and obvious that we did it! But of course this was between me and him and the explanation on how it had occured.
He was on side and would back us.

I did email him saying anything verbally i had spoke to him about retracting any blame and not going to admit liability.

He has been since sent this quote for the damage by the insurance company who passes him work requesting this, I cant sit by and let him take the flack and pay up for this as i guess if he doesnt pay he could loose this contract?

    Its a difficult situation!

As long as i pay for and attempt the repair and it gets done too as high a standard as possible and is not noticable then
surely this is legally all i am required to do is make good?

After all the evidence is still there of the existing shoddy install by B&Q or customer whoever installed it in the first place.

    Cheers

    Hi Guys

your comments please, this photo shows the extent of the damage to worktop and now this customer is pursuing claim of over £1000 for this! 😯

You will have to look closely!!

Should I tell him to get stuffed and see if he takes it further or just go through my insurance?

Tell him I am only going to offer the repair service I sent a link for?

I am still adament that the damage stems from the crapp installtion of B&Q or himself who ever siliconed the hob?

So why should I coff up a for a whole kitchen.

Again where do I stand on this What should I do next?

    thanks

Have had a few issues with mains filters and burnt out pumps and shorting component issues on pcb ❗

Did you test it with megger with mains lead disconnected?

Good little tester, got 2 a few years ago from Alpha-electronics.com now on offer for £186

The only problem i had was lead and insert issues, if you keep taking the leads in and out they can break, advise keep leads plugged in all the time!

Reliable and fairly robust easy to use!

Re: Bosch Maxx WFL2260 – Rapid tapping when spinning

It wont be shaft or bearing as he has said the noise is replicated by rocking the drum from side to side.
    Drum not turning 😕

    There are a couple of things that can cause this tapping noise;

It could be the locking nuts located on feet not secure.

If the feet locking nuts have never been tightened up to the chassis then it can cause the cabinet to rock and twist, it could eventually causing a crack in the joint weld of the chassis. (which I have come across once)

Or could be worn suspension legs.

    Re: awct10l fault-cannot find

I take it you have checked the inlet valves?

I have had similar issue which was motor related, it starts to fill and then the drum starts to turn at that point checking the load weight etc, this normally happens if they use a quick wash with a full load it senses overload?

I take it you are trying it empty and still get the same fault?

The other problem i have had is pressure stat hose with pin hole in? this way it normally times out!
