Did you notice that not only are they special order they are nearly £8 each what an absolute rip off by merloni 😯

why they have to be a left hand thread there is no reason for this this part does not even turn.

It was possible some pratt used the wrong tool in the factory and made a few million and so thought they could corner the market, by selling a left handed spanners to match πŸ˜†

The reason for my post was to see if any one had any second hand bolts laying around for this model as come up dead end, no fixing company that i have been in touch with has any.

The only thing could possibly do is re drill the hub and re tapp with right hand ❓

    Re: Specialised Electronic Services (SES)

I have delt with them for years, although only do a couple every month. You wont be able to retire on the amount you get sent.

They pay on time every month and as for rates, they pay better than some other wp for calling and just giving a estimate.

They will send you templates of all appliances and all you have to do is get all the details fill in the blanks as much as possible, explain the damage or problem write a small report say whether it is repairable or not and email it back with invoice and approx quote of cost at your own rate parts and labour.

If insurer agrees to your quote and it is repairable you get another job number and get paid again for the repair.

    SAMSUNG W/m

    Water Supply Error
    – If there is no higher change in water frequency than 100Hz for 2 minutes during the initial time of water supply
and if water level doesn’t reach the preset level in 10 minutes, this error will occur.
This error will be released using Start/Pause button, which performs the initial condition of operation.
    – Display : β€œ4E”

    Water Drain Error
    – If water level frequency is still lower than the reset level frequency (25.20kHz) in 10 minutes after starting of
water drain, this error will occur.
This error will be released using Start/Pause button, which performs the initial condition of operation.
    – Display : β€œ5E”

    Over Flow Error
    – If an abnormal water level frequency is sensed (for occurrence of Over Flow :21.00kHz), Auto Power Off may
release this error and continuously progress water drain until the frequency reached 25.00kHz.
    – If Over Flow is also sensed even after the following check of water level frequency indicating that error, it
    functions to progress water drain.
    – Display : β€œOE”

    Door Open Error
    – This error will be released by closing Door.
    – Display : “dE”

    Unbalance Error
    – This error will be released by pressing start/pause S/W.

    Water Heater Error
    – This error will be released by turning off Power S/W.
    – Display : β€œHE1″(Over Heat),
    – Display : “HE2”, indicating no operation of HE.

Pressure S/W (Single Part Trouble) Error
Frequency signals(kHz) generated by water level S/W
    – If the above frequency signals are displayed longer than 5sec, it indicates Pressure S/W Error.
    – Drain water for 3 minutes for that Error, and turn OFF water drain pump. Pressure S/W Error
display β€œ IE” will be shown.
Abnormal Frequency 30.00 KHz 15.00 KHz

    Abnormal Water Temperature ERROR
    – Water drain begins if abnormal water temperature is sensed at the initial time of water supply. If the frequency
higher than 25.20KHz is sensed, water will be drained by force.
    – Display : “CE”
    – This error will be released by turning off Power S/W.

    Natural Drain/Water Leak Error
    – If more than 4 times of water supply and safe water level of Heater are sensed for each course, this error will
    occur.
    – Display : “LE
    – This error will be released by turning off Power S/W.

    Tacho Error
    – If Motor Tacho is abnormal, this error will occur.

Re: Bosch Classixx 1400 Express washing machine won,t spin

The brush housing is usually off set, when looking at the back of the motor one side is higher than the other and it will be slightly angled, the same as the brushes. Put them in one at a time once in place just turn the motor pulley by hand slowly if it turns smoothly then they will be in the correct way. If wrong you wont be able to turn the motor easily you will jam and break the brush so be careful.

deltra wrote:if you select spin programme, will it spin at whatever spin you set ❓ or does it only spin at 800 not 1600 ❓

The machine has a variable spin selector 0-1600 so yes it should spin at different speeds if set before you start the program.

But your right Tim it did only seem to reach 1200 even set at 1600, I think it was down to load distribution and weight. Although have had no complaints from any of my customers on spin performance and I sold quite a few.

The wash and spin performance is far better on the AW23.

Ken gave me a contact of a broker who is interested in more business from UKW members.

So if you contact Graham Smith tell him you are a member of UKW the more who get on board hopefully the cheaper the premiums will be.

I have used them due to other requirments requested by other insurance companies that was not related to what we do.

Found them very flexible and helpful.

    Re: Serviceforce charging up front?

I have had a few jobs lately, where customers have called SF for under guarantee work.

I had one customer with a sealed drum with an object in, they point blank refused to attempt to repair it. They did not even say if we find an object when its apart then you will be charged XXX, they just walked away!!

If independant how can they afford to turn down work?

Who cares; if they can’t be bothered to repair it then more business for us.

Customer gave them what for, said never buy zanussi again, picked up the phone after looking on the net and purchased ISE. πŸ˜€

She even gave me her machine which I did offer to repair first before selling new one; she just wanted shot of it.
It took 5 minutes located small screw front drum, luckily no damge.

    Re: Serviceforce charging up front?

Its True Bristol Branch any way, Customer just phoned for 2 appliances one dishwasher and washing machine.

They demanded Β£50 up front per item and then failed to turn up for appointment.

Customer then cancelled the call and they initially refused to refund the amount, then said they would charge her 2.5 {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} admin until she read them the riot act πŸ˜†

    Then got full refund.

She then called me and I charged her Β£45 +vat both items + parts. Job done. washing machine was only blocked conditioner hole.
