I spent ages trying to get one of these philps screws out, but no joy I tried both clockwise and anticlockwise even put the vice grips on it but it wont move,
its a ridiculous idea.

it was a short heater I fitted a new genuine heater with NTC but still the same

about 20 mins, fan is going full speed element is heating, I might try a new element , but never had one which was not faulty or working.
