    Hi Dave,

yes I have checked the filters. The vent hose is spotless and it hangs straight out of the window which is behind the dryer.
I didn’t remove the board or check the connections, so I suppose that is a possibility.

    Hi Dave,

yes, I did have a good look at the element and it looked in good shape.

I had this fault several months ago. It was a customers oven and the cooling fan for the top oven would come on at random times. Sometimes in the middle of the night and stay on for hours.
I was advised to replace the NTC sensor repair set as it had been modified. The part number was 10011733 from Bosch. If you look on the Bosch spares diagram for that model, it is item 1046.
It may be what is at fault, can’t say for definite.
Remember to switch the power off if you are investigating.

    Hi,
If it is the fan element that has failed, in order to replace it you will need access to the back of the cooker, as well as the front.

    Thanks for the advice Dave.
I used a coat hanger, dropped if through the front chamber where the filter sits and picked out the excess fluff I could see on the fins.
I left it with the customer to report back and they have just said that it is now working.

    Thanks.
There was a cover on the front bottom left. I assumed it would unclip, but I struggled to get it off and didn’t want to risk breaking it.

Just to add, I did wash the lint filter and cleaned the moisture sensor.
