The ISE machine does not have a traditional type pressure switch, in so much that it works on frequency not directly from air pressure so it may be neccessary to replace the ball in the sump hose to prevent other spurious faults from developing.

Going on the above I would suggest just the detergent reduction.

Chill out. I know after a frustrating day dealing with the general public we all need to let off some steam but I thought this site was about giving assistance / advice.

Re: Changing Door Swing on Zanussi ZDE57140W Dryer?

I know that reversing doors isn’t always as easy at it would seem.

If the instruction manual dosen’t give you enough detail then a call to Zanussi would be the best bet. You don’t want to damage something and invalidate your guarantee.

    Re: Servis Service

The article says that Servis are overhauling their call centre which, would indicate to me, that they intend to go direct to agent and by pass existing arrangements, maybe.

    Anyone know more yet?

And, in any event, it looks like bye bye GB DAR.

For the last four months or so I have found that GBDAR have improved. There seems to be alot more staff and phone calls are answered straight away.

I have been working for GBDAR for about five years and at the moment they are providing the best support they have ever done.

There is alot more communication with Servis Technical. And again phone calls are answered quickly and e-mails are responded to.

This maybe due to the ‘overhauling’ you mention.

I know alot of people slate GBDAR but as a ‘sole-trader’ I find my work and theirs can generally gel quite well. GBDAR’s work provides a nice buffer on those quieter weeks.

two white wires to thermistor side. 2 grey wires to thermostat side. Grey from thermostat to heater.
The thermostat/thermistor has 4 tags. Two tags are the normally closed thermostat side and the other two tags are the thermistor side. Ring them out two determine which is which, 0 ohms is the thermosat side.
Hope this tallys with your machine.

Have you checked for timing out problems?

Check for burnt solder points on the relays. A blob of solder sometimes works wonders.
