Some ‘magic tool’ for that band i would think. Some people have adapted pliers for the job. You could find another clamp band that will fit. (Stretch type band or nut and bolt type.)

thats as much as I know.

    …five minutes of motor action

So no water goes in the machine at all until five minutes into the cycle?

If the valves are ok and the heater etc, it must be a wiring issue as you have eliminated board and motor.

(have you tested the valves with a meter?)

Not known of the spin ‘pot’ to cause this fault. When you say it takes a while to fill on the wash does it fill on the prewash side before the main wash side of the draw?

count the flashes in a 15 second interval. This will relate to the fault codes for the Nextra range. (in known error codes).

    Re: Yellow Pages

because I reckon the customers who turn to Yellow pages are looking for local telephone numbers that they recognise.
Without the local number I reckon many potential customers would just skip by the advert regardless of a local address.

Couldn’t agree more Bryan. I have never gone with the 08 numbers due to the fact that i know people want to see a local phone number.

I recently moved to an area which I have advertised in before but with a not so local phone number code. This year I have advertised in the same book but with a local code and my work hasn’t increased dramatically.

My advertising with YP cost me £40 per week. So as long as i get 2 jobs a week from it I have covered my costs. I approximately get 4 to 8 jobs a week from YP. Money well spent me thinks.

Re: spin dryer with wheels !!

Years ago I cut a wooden base, just bigger than the spinner, and put castor wheels on the bottom of the wooden base. It did the job and customer was well chuffed.
Probably Health and Safety rules against that now. :rolls:

Has the start switch on the front pcb broken away?

The fact that there is power and the door locks on the test programme should prove that side of things.

Yes it is a stretch belt, no argument there. that was never in question.

Let me see if i can make myself clear.

forget all i have written for now.

Connect say that an 1810 will fit this machine and a 1897 will fit this machine as well.

what is the difference in these belts. and what exactly does the length indicate? pre-stretched or stretched?

    please answer. 😉

thanks for your time and patience.

    Re: bosch wta3003gb/17

How are you deciphering my tone of asking?

I was asking nicely, but directly, as to find out how a 1897 will not be too big. my stretched broken belt measures 1840. Now again, maybe i am missing something but if a belt is stretched over the pulley then before it is stretched it must be smaller than 1840 not bigger.

    Please answer. 😉

    Re: bosch wta3003gb/17

    You have completely lost me.

    Tug what?

The original belt is snapped. I have measured it. I am asking what belt to fit. 1810, 1840, 1897?

Is the length of belt determined in its fitted state? or in its unstretched state?

    Please clarify.
