Cheers for reply. It has two pressure switches in it. old diaphragm type and digital type.

could be a dry joint on the board, especially around the relays or proccesor fault as they were a bit iffy sometimes

i assume this is the motor control board rather than the user board??

keep running the machine. do cycle after cycle after cycle. I had the same trouble the other day. (There is a post on here somewhere.) The brushes should eventually seat properly.

if the pecker is inboard, which it should be, then your ok. 1604822 comes with the inboard stud to which you attach the pecker.

Re: Comet auction site for Joe public/What next?

The machines i’ve seen have been disgraceful. Literally falling apart. One had a cracked outer tub. The customers seem genuinely shocked that the machines aren’t in working order and they believe the manufacturer covers the guarantee as normal.

I think Comet need to make the customers more aware of what they are selling!

If i sold machines in that state i’m sure i would have trading standards round like a shot.

Normally they clip back in place. and there is a couple of points you can secure with small self tappers.
I find it easier removing the whole fascia to refit button assy.
