Check timer wires haven’t rubbed on metal control arm that runs from timer to top of dispenser.

    Re: servis wiring

two white wires to thermistor side. 2 grey wires to thermostat side. Grey from thermostat to heater, and black to heater.
The thermostat/thermistor has 4 tags. Two tags are the normally closed thermostat side and the other two tags are the thermistor side. Ring them out two determine which is which, 0 ohms is the thermosat side.
Hope this tallys with your machine.

Re: HOOVER HC6 150M NO HEAT

Did the customer complain of no heat?????

They do this quite alot and the machine is perfectly ok. It may be they had the machine connected wrong in the old house and the clothes were hot at the end due to the cold supply connected to the hot!!!!

Have you run the speed wash cycle. The heater should come on after 10 minutes (at a guess).

Re: Pattern Heaters: A cautionary tale 🙁

Both hoses sprung a small leak after a few weeks. I do remember someone saying some time back they had an uncrimped hose. Mine were crimped. but i think the washer was inadequate.

Re: Pattern Heaters: A cautionary tale 🙁

What a nightmare. Last year i had two leaks caused by connect universal fill hoses. These are the only two claims i have had in twelve years.

I never pursued this with connect as how do you prove you fitted the part correctly???

Hope Connect react suitably in your favour!

    Re: HPT.WD51

I would say so. check loom on right side as it comes across to motor. and also check loom where it secures to motor itself. had a few yellow tacho wires rub through on motor.(old style motor)

I still find taking front off quicker, plus it allows you check pressure system, heater wiring and the security of lower weight.

You would think it would overfill always on wash as well. but i have had numerous calls where it only overfills when it gets to the rinse stages.

(digital) motor 1604822 dosen’t work on 95 series machines. The motor distributes to fast.
