Maybe you’ve assumed wrongly Martin? who mentioned two bedroom flats and students? It maybe a four bedroomed house with a family of four in it? Then it would be a false investment!

would it be something I did wrong, any help
Possibly? Wheres my crystal ball 🙂
Numerous things, did you kink the drain hose or fill hose when you pushed machine back in?
Did you disturb some wiring somewhere?
Did you check the pressure system to make sure its not blocked.
Does a rinse and spin work ok or is it just the wash?
Remember do unplug the machine if you are going back in!!!

I reckon 50 would be a much more realistic number. 🙂

If the switch rings out the same as posted it won’t be the switch at fault. Its just how those switches are. Im sure theres been a discussion before about the 3 pole switches?

You both look like your websites are designed & managed by Yell. Have you spoken to Yell about it?

Excellent news. I only knew the answer bacause I wired one up incorrectly after a bearing change and it did the same.
😉
(Dont tell my wife I admitted to making a mistake.)

NTC is the thermistor, the part that changes resistance as the temperature changes. Im sure you have stumbled accross a few. The part that sits in most wash heaters is an NTC.

I’m guessing here, Im sure the selector should have the two wires in a connector going to it. Then there are two individual wires, normally one has a black plastic sheath on it. The other wire is bare / no insulation. These wires go to the other side of the selector. Im not sure which way round they go, Im sure the bare wire goes to the right as you look from the front of the machine.
Wiring diagram anyone?December 7, 2011 at 8:03 pm in reply to: Creda W220VW Only fills for 20 seconds then starts to wash #365043timdowning

I bet you’ve wired up the module incorrectly.
This happens when you get the two lots of two wires on the wrong place on the board. Difficult to explain without seeing colours / connectors of wiring. Selector end of board not dispenser end.
