ParticipantRe: Bosch D/W….I’m stumped on this TBH.
Im sorry Martin I’ve been thinking, really thinking.
Strange fault as you are fully aware. I’ve never had this fault or even similar.Totally dead yes. (Blown component on board due to heater or divertor.)
Are you willing to risk a module? (£92 a POP.)
Or why not advise of costs & refer them to use Bosch’s under 6 years all inclusive repair plan. I think its £14 per month for 12 months.
😕

ParticipantRe: ISE website
No prices are given on the ISE site at all as it allows dealers to be “flexible” and also it’s illegal to set prices anyway as such.
There used to be a link to shop@, is there one now?
But I can suggest sir looks and a new monitor or perhaps pays a visit to an optician

ParticipantRe: ISE website
I like it, I like it alot.
Agent search is great. (Zip code though rather than post code?)
Is there anywhere that shows prices?
Could the sub headings have a darker font, so they are easier to see?
Must have taken an age, well worth the effort!!!

ParticipantRe: Hoover A3260
What could be wrong with it that you couldn’t fix yourself? Chip down? Timers on them were prone to go.
😕
Its strange, the job before this module one was a Hotpoint WD420 with all the lights flashing. Changed the capacitor, all sorted, patted myself on the back, and with a spring in my step went to this 27 year old Hoover. Only to be met with a faulty module. What are the chances of that?

ParticipantRe: Work from letting agent in Bedford area.
Strange that, I had a Zoe Bywater contact me a few weeks ago in regards to doing work for her.
Bedford is a bit out of my way, but if she is really stuck and dosen’t mind paying a bit extra I might be able to assist depending on the set-up and speed of service required.
Tim.

ParticipantRe: Let’s all go on holiday together!
Its always difficult closing shop, but for me it has worked a treat this royal wedding thingy.
I had already book a week away…23rd April to the 30th April.
I now only have to justify taking three actual days off. (It kind of helps?)

Thanks for reply.
Mmm, this could be tricky. Having thought I’d checked everything thoroughly its not really possible to go back to check the door without looking like I have diagnosed wrongly.
So for now lets assume the door switch is ok, with the symptoms I’ve given does it seem like a board fault to you?
Is there a cut-out or just NTC and heater? Thanks.

ParticipantRe: Qualtex South West Closing
I have been using Qualtex since the UKWhitegoods meeting. Kay’s my contact there on extension 202. She’s been spot on every time. Next day delivery available for Whitegoods members up until 5pm. None of this 3pm cut off.
Its also good to see a wide variety of Bosch spares in stock at sensible prices.
