Re: Difference between Bosch heat pumps

I’ve posted quite a bit on this lately.

Trade prices aren’t that different between the types. £67 for the 651956 & £48 ish for the others.

I generally charge trade price plus £70 plus VAT. Don’t out price the job by charging the £120 list price…
Job done easily within 45 minutes even with a quick wash test!!

Freestanding or integrated can all be done through the front panel with the door taken off!!

Make sure there is the new thin clamp in the box. (long thin bladed slotted screwdriver to reach through when positioned to the left of the sump.

The old heat pump just pulls backwards & twist to get it off the hoses.

    Thanks for the reply.

I fitted 12019637 as listed by Bosch for that model didn’t want to risk the wrong one.
It is actually the cheapest of the lot & was on a 60cm integrated.
Its about 10mm longer than the original & comes with a new cover that clips in the sump.

    Ta.

    Those seals always do that.
Quite often they seem to grow in length too!!
Cut a fraction of it off & push it back in place. Go careful though as the lip is sharp!!

I think he is talking just about the spin knob not the programme selector…

Try running the dryer with the condenser out & see if it still shuts down.
Sometimes the condensers look clean but are actually very blocked.
Rod it out with a thin length of plastic, something like a plastic ruler is the sort of shape & length you need…

The problem with those no fix no fee bods are they aren’t going to attempt a repair that no one is going to pay for.
End result, easy option, write off the appliance.

Yep, even on new machines I put in a couple of weeks ago.
I have put a small screw in as you described but not on the brand new machines….
