Really interesting thread but I must say that it depends if you live in a hard water area? The zanussi jetsystems were an absolute nightmare in very hard water areas.
Best machine for me has to be the hoover keymatic …don’t know the model number but it makes me think of my lovely Mum on a sunday morning with her new fangled washing machine that worked like magic ha ha

If you don’t think you can cope without the “support” of indesit then stay employed by them! Do not go down this “Franchise” route as a long term plan. It is SO one sided it is ridiculous!!

just set intensive for one hour ….all okay so far not sure about readings, it takes forever going throught the tests ha ha I will try all though and report back Thanks for your support so far Martin I certainly feel a step closer.
It doesn’t give time restrictions in the user guide 🙁

mmmm….will try that martin BUT….what about the auto dry fault on intensive?…Is that because it is more than 90 mins?

UPDATE!
Auto dry on intensive heat – Freezes after 7 mins (Same as manual setting on Intensive heat freezes after 7 minutes).
On test auto dry gentle heat …Works fine!

Jules, it sounds like the door lock needs replacing – you need an engineer I’m afraid! It is likely that the lock has a broken internal spring and therefor it is stuck in the “Locked” position.

Thanks for the quick reply! I just megga’d the element and it is 2.75! SO disconnected it and put it on test hoping it will go through and then new element ordered.
Cheers for that …These diagnostic progs are great so long as you remember to check the basics ha ha!

Talk to Vodaphone They do a cracking deal whereby you get ALL your calls included in the package even all 0844 0871 0870 etc etc they will also set up your mobile to run your whole business calls i.e. a menu system so that if someone calls your landline number they can be presented with a menu eg sales press 1 repairs press 2 etc etc you then decide if you want your phone to ring or divert to voicemial depending on the option chosen! I know it sounds complicated BUT it is BRILLIANT. The only downside is that vodaphone business do not offer a broadband package

Yep checked for blockages ….all pretty clean to be honest! I just tried it again and strangely it went past the nine minutes i.e. 51 mins left from the hour set, in fact it had counted down to 48 mins left BUT went back a few mins later and it had stopped again but was showing 51 mins left!?
CONFUSED…….thanx for the reply any other ideas?
