Re: AWZ541/3 Whirlpool Condenser Dryer Help !

Transported this dryer back to my house, dam thing workiing ok now, do you think the float switch got stuck?.However it now makes a wizzing noise each time the drum changes direction, is this the fan working loose on the motor shaft?. I had taken the the drum out and removed the motor cover in the customers house before I realized access to the float chamber was at the front. 😥
Not a big fan of this dryer I must say.

Well I rang customer services this morning and told them about this machine and within 5mins a technician was on the phone asking me for the customers details. He seem to think the machine would be uplifted.
I will ring the customer Friday to find out what happened.
Thanks everyone for the input on this problem and well done Zanussi for responding so quickly.

There was no sign of any wear to the door mechanism, I will ring Zanussi tomorrow to see if I can create some interest.
    Thanks Turbo

I left the appliance unplugged, I only charged her an estimate fee of £15 and a reciept highlighting how dangerous this machine could be. I dont see as I could have done anymore.
I even agreed to change the door lock for just £15 labour to make this machine safe but as I already mentioned this failed to cure the problem.

A local dealer told me he has had to return two recently. Did see one in the shop with the belt thrown in the drum so I dont think he is winding me up. Will ask him again tomorrow.

Is he over loading it. Tell him to put a load on 1 hour before your next visit.

How annoying is that 👿 I have a rule if the customer starts the job the customer finishes the job, sometimes I relent depending on the circumstances but often live to regret it. Turbo

    Re: INDESIT WE10UK

Went to a washer dryer version of this model last week that was leaking from where the door seal joins the tub. It turned out she had a new door seal fitted by Indesit 3 months previous. I told her to call Indersit back as it looked a pig of a job and I could not see how the band could create a water tight seal the way it was designed. Sorry to be of no help on this one 😥 Turbo

    Re: Bosch Built in DW

Have written off around half a dozen dishwashers with salt corroded bases. Would like to know where you get this solder from as it seems a shame to throw away what is often a nearly new dishwasher with just a small pin hole in the base.
    Thanks Turbo.
